We have been coming to Paul & Jimmy's since the 1970s! Wonderful Italian food at very reasonable prices. We were back visiting New York City for three days and made sure it was one of our stops. The owner's father worked at the restaurant in the 1950s as a server and then bought it. It has been in their family ever since. One of our favorites!
At lunch on a Sunday it was very uncrowded and quiet which we loved. Restaurant is old style Italian with brick walls, wee spaced tables and tablecloths. Food is good and reasonably priced.
Northern Italian food at its finest! I had my first date, with my now wife, here 45 years ago and the owner Louie has impressed us with the same quality food and service as the first time we came here. Very good wine selection at reasonable prices. The burrata and beet salad was delicious as a starter. The halibut special was cooked to perfection as was the branzino! A side dish of pasta with oil and garlic was the perfect compliment to the halibut!
