Pedacito De Mexico II Food Truck

parked on West 20th Street, near Sixth Avenue. you can’t miss this truck as it is a converted school bus, painted black. don’t judge a book by its cover—but this food truck will teach you something about tasty Mexican comfort foods. truck is a two-man operation. it is clean and well-maintained. the menu offers up tacos, burritos, quesadillas, etc with a variety of different proteins: beef, chicken, chorizo, al pastor, carnitas, and more. the truck is parked from lunchtime to early evening.stopped by here for a burrito and it didn’t disappoint. ordered a chicken burrito with the works. the chicken was moist and flavorful and seasoned well. the rice was fluffy yet firm and soaked up all the chicken and other ingredients up. the burrito is stuffed veggies to round out the the flavors and textures. the burrito was super-filling and satisfying. look forward to trying the tacos here, next. chicken burrito, $9 + tipthe staff are chill and work hard. it shows in the quality of the food. food is packed neatly.

Paid a little over $10 for 3 tacos. The carnitas were incredible, but I also got the bistec and pollo. The red hot sauce was also really good.Well portioned food, tastes amazing, and it definitely feels like a lot of effort went into making this food. Adding this to my list of places to go to again FOR SURE.Only thing I'd change? Lime wedges instead of lemon wedges. Otherwise, it's the perfect taco truck.
