The Pembroke room is the breakfast room for the Lowell Hotel (and was included in our stay). Very expensive, but excellent breakfast with good service.
Came here for my 18th Birthday! Super tasty tea and pastries with kind and attentive staff. It’s a lot of food honestly, wasn’t able to finish it all. Cool place to chill with loved ones (I spent a good 2 hours here probably)
Always lovely
all very rich
Wanting to take my daughter for a special treat whilst in New York for a few days we booked afternoon tea in the Pembroke Room at the Lowell Hotel after knocking back the Plaza after reading a few dodgy reviews. So pleased we did as we spent over 2 hours enjoying every moment. The service was excellent as was the food, especially the warm scones. It’s a shame the cream was “Devonshire” rather than the traditional Clotted Cornish but other than that it was perfection. Lovely small intimate setting too where we felt our custom was welcome rather than feeling just a number as we were one of just 3 tables there. Would we return? Absolutely!
Lovely dining room, good service, solid food.
The service was outstanding food delicious what a nice day enjoyed the breakfast. Definitely will go back. I also will like to go back for there afternoon tea.

Great time having high tea at the pembrook room at the Lowell hotel. Tea was great, even when I picked one and didn't like it, they changed it out for a second one. The small treats were delicious. The scones were warm but not dry like traditional scones. They were also not as tasty, more butter needed in the recipe. Clotted cream and lemon curd rocked. Service was great. Small space so reservations are a must. Outside space would be nice during the appropriate months.
Celebrated my daughter's birthday. I am not loving the changes. The place our sandwiches on a plate and not on a tear. The selection of teas were not memorable. It didn't feel like the Pembroke until I got the bill.
Nice room if a little dated. Pleasant atmosphere. Food bland. Bread a little stale. Sweets bought in I suspect. Service amateurish and knowledge of menu poor.At this price point just not good enough.
Tea party was great and tea was the best I ever had.
My mom and I had afternoon tea at the Pembroke Room and were served by Mariem. Mariem was lovely, and she and the other servers really gave us a spectacular experience. The champagne, caviar, tea, sandwiches, and sweets were all wonderful. The experience was really elevated by the lovely service.
