Came here for my 18th Birthday! Super tasty tea and pastries with kind and attentive staff. It’s a lot of food honestly, wasn’t able to finish it all. Cool place to chill with loved ones (I spent a good 2 hours here probably)
Wanting to take my daughter for a special treat whilst in New York for a few days we booked afternoon tea in the Pembroke Room at the Lowell Hotel after knocking back the Plaza after reading a few dodgy reviews. So pleased we did as we spent over 2 hours enjoying every moment. The service was excellent as was the food, especially the warm scones. It’s a shame the cream was “Devonshire” rather than the traditional Clotted Cornish but other than that it was perfection. Lovely...
Great time having high tea at the pembrook room at the Lowell hotel. Tea was great, even when I picked one and didn't like it, they changed it out for a second one. The small treats were delicious. The scones were warm but not dry like traditional scones. They were also not as tasty, more butter needed in the recipe. Clotted cream and lemon curd rocked. Service was great. Small space so reservations are a must. Outside space would be nice during the appropriate months.
