This was such a great find! My sister and I were just walking and the French onion burger on their menu caught my eye. When we sat and really looked at the menu, everything sounded amazing, and we had gotten there just before brunch ended. Finally got down to trying Penelope’s for brunch.. and it didn’t disappoint! They don’t take rezzies for brekkie / brunch so first come first serve

The outside nook is great for people watching.. standout was the pancakes. The blueberry compote wasn’t overpowering or overly sweet

A beautiful terrace, decorated in a rustic style, is the perfect environment in the heart of Manhattan to enjoy a generous and tasty Penelope-style croque monsier. Very rich. The staff is very attentive and kind.
