The environment is very good. My favorite noodles are here. I never get tired of eating braised noodles.

I have to say this restaurant caters to foreigners which suits their appetite. Sure they are good but the dishes are just mediocre and can be found in many noodle shop places with 2/3 or even half of the price. Only thing different is the extra garnishing and plating if you’re into that.

Whether one is a novice or ramen aficionado, the Tomato Beef Stew Noodle is a good soup to try. The entree was reminiscent of a beef sinigang albeit without the tamarind. The boneless meat just melted in my mouth. The atmosphere was warm and so was the service. There is also a kiosk available near the door of one wishes to order takeout.

Coming here for the first time celebrating a friend's bday. We ordered the vegetable and pork fried dumplings, they were okay. Some of us ordered the house noodle bowl and I ordered tingly beef mince banmen. I liked what I ordered and my group was kind of so so about their orders. A little overpriced since it is on the upper East side, it's understandable. Service was great, the lady was attentive and very patient with our orders.

The Beijing Dalumen Pork dish was spectacular. Can't wait to return and explore the other tempting dishes.

SO DELICIOUS! I would come back in a heartbeat, a very cool and delicious hole in the wall with the best ramen I’ve ever had in my life.

The perfect hole in the wall!Once you find the door to get in, heavenly flavors for a reasonably priced bowl of noodle soup await. Favorites are the pork rib and chicken katzu. Of course it’s still winter and those hit the spot. What will happen in summer is a different question. To be continued. Happily.
