wasn’t crazy about claud and am not crazy about penny either. that being said i think there are a few good bites at both so trying to get a res for both on the same night and making a full meal out of both may be the way to go. the brioche was huge and outstanding, i hate paying for bread but honestly it was worth it. the confit oysters were good but very small for the price. the oysters are in chicken fat which i don’t think is necessary and they put way too much paprika...
Everything was spectacularly fresh, and prepared directly in front of you. Brioche is unassuming but truly delicious (comes warm out of the oven), and honorable mention also goes to the humble seaweed salad (not what you get at sushi places, but fresher and better). We loved everything we tried and overall great.

-Ice Box. Shrimp was the highlight. Just get the shrimp cocktail instead.
-Spring Macedoine. Solid.
-Stuffed Squid. Nothing special really. Squid was tender but the tuna filling was overwhelmed by the harissa.

-Scallop + Morel. Just fine. Nothing special. Morels didn't shine through.
