I want to share my impressions of this wonderful restaurant! My beloved man and I celebrated the day of love here, Valentine’s Day. Each dish was especially delicious. The waiters were polite and the atmosphere was magical. The musician played the harp, creating a very gentle, light atmosphere. The restaurant was able to convey a sense of taste, luxury and a desire to return. Special thanks to the chef for his art and sense of beauty. We will definitely come back here again.

Appetizers were great (tuna tartar and oysters). Squid ink pasta was very bland. Cocktails were too

It was a nice cozy place. I didn't really like the food. Everything else was good.

Excellent service all around and food next to central park! Host and server Mohammed was very friendly and sweet. Food was really good. Nice soft music too.

Had breakfast there for three, incredibly expensive, the utensils are bent and scratched with dirty spots, the waiter is openly coughing as he's putting a table cloth down, the food was insanely not good bordering on parody. I could not believe it was over $100 for our share. Additionally, when you're spending that much you'd think coffee would at least be included. No, it isn't. It was $10 a cup-- no refills so $10 for every single small 10 oz mug of horrible tasting coffee coming out of a pitcher that is smudged with dirt.I don't write reviews, this would be my first. I definitely do not recommend it.

Snobby establishment that does not respect customers. Stayed at the hotel and their chef refused to provide any meals suitable for a Buddhist…

I was hoping for greatness but instead got mediocre and I think I'm being soft for the price point and pedigree. The food was pleasantly good - flavor and presentation was good, not great. But the waiter service for lunch was abysmal. After initial attention the first 10 min, we were left to fend for ourselves and had to flag down waiters in earnest to pay the bill. I'm sorry but when your lunch entree is $45+ you MUST know what the dish generally looks like. I asked basics like "does this curry come with rice?" And he was unable to give me a straight answer. The chicken thigh curry did, not the chicken Tikka masala FYI. In the summer I'm sure it's beautiful out on the patio overlooking CP. Perhaps I will come back for that...

The food was okay, but we paid nearly $500 the other day and the service was rude and they frequently ignored us when we politely asked for more water or the bill. They also rushed us out rudely, even though we had been patient with them and didn't receive all the items we requested. Not worth what we paid and I wouldn't return. Nice venue but the service was incredibly rude.

Pasta was well prepared with excellent flavor. Service was amazing. Great wine selections. Timing was good. We were rushed and they made it happen. All good with the waiter being the best.

We went to Perrine for brunch and were unimpressed as a whole. The service is lackluster as we had to ask for a waitress to come over for basic water. And then every point after that we basically had to request a waitress. The brunch menu serves very basic items that you can get anywhere in NYC but extremely overpriced. Avocado toast for $33? A basic waffle for $33? Absolutely not. At one point I was contemplating ordering a couple of sides. One of our guests needed to pull out her theatre tickets for a matinee and was having trouble connecting so she requested the wifi password. Initially we were told that they don’t have a wifi password for those who aren’t guests of the hotel. Finally one of the waiters overheard us and told us the password. For a restaurant that has an average menu item cost of ~$35, you would think they’d extend a courtesy to patrons to have easily accessible WiFi. But no.It’s one thing if this restaurant just wants to be a quick and easy option for hotel guests who don’t want to go out. But if they want to attract other patrons, they will have to re-think their brunch menu and pricing because no sane New Yorker will so much as walk a block over for that.

Tried this place for Brunch for the first time. I booked online through Resy and noted that it was a special event, my birthday. The hostess didn't even acknowledge the special occasion. NO big deal...they looked really busy and understaffed.Next, after being seated for 15 minutes we had to ask for a waiter to please come around and take our drink order. When he came he asked to also take our food order. So I ordered a caesar salad for starter and a Pierre burger for my main course.20 minutes later ALL my found arrives together...salad and burger.Never once did the waiter ask is we needed anything. He never even visited our table. We had to get up to ask for a refill of our water. When it came to desert, same deal. No waiter to be found. The food was good, which was the only redeeming factor of Perrine. However, the entire experience was a let down. We usually have lunch at the Astor Room in the St Regis and the Peninsula Hotel..both only a few blocks away from the Pierre Hotel's Perrine restaurant. Perrine doesn't even come close to the level of service the other 2 restaurants offer.Waiters (5 of them) would just gather around the point of sale system chit chatting not even looking at their tables. In fact, other guests had to also get up to get the attention of waiters.I feel the Perrine in the Pierre Hotel, is resting on their laurels and isn't really trying. Seems like the staff just doesn't care and/or is understaffed. We will not be going back.

Went there for lunch. The Pierre has a long way to go. Went to the restaurant for lunch. The gazpacho and pasta very ordinary. Service leaves A lot to be desired. Since there is a new general manager, hopefully things will improve soon.
