I love the selection of fresh sushi here. The seaweed salad is reasonable priced. I've tried the chirashi, the spicy tiny rolls and the sashimi. This is a take-out kiosk. Service is efficient and there is someone outside of the kiosk that assist customers. You can't beat the ambience of the Grand Central Marketplace. It's a gorgeous building with all sorts of beautiful things, products and food. My favorite items are the brown rice rolls.

I shop here frequently and I’ve never had a problem. I just took out the fish I bought and it was packaged in the sloppiest way, and the fillet itself is cut terribly. Really not happy.

Stop using grub hub there not reliable. I placed an order delivery time 3:05-3:15 never arrived. Called restaurant 4:30pm, Restsurant never called back. I called again 6pm no interest. I contacted Grub after all the tedious explanations they credit my cc $41, offered a $15 credit on my next order. I ordered and got no discount!

yet another follow up on my terrible experience with Jerry at Pescatore! I just checked my credit card to make sure my canceled order was credited to my credit card by Pescatore it was not credited I called and was promised a call back from Jerry of which I still haven't heard back . Yet more customer service no surprise!Reported to bank and they can handle it! Not worth my time and aggravation ! Better fish in the sea!Cindy I didn't say I Love your fish I said it was good there is a difference between love and good.... I have not seen the refund reflected on my Credit Card it's almost a week... I called today and was told Jerry would call me right back... 12 hrs still no call back about refund.. It was not the delivery service that made the mistake time after time I called the store directly because of the lack of service from delivery service... Nobody can get it right.. The fish was delicious from Fresh Direct and got here on time as promised. One more point and then I'm done with you all. I am not slamming you I am simply writing the facts. Happy fishing..

Our 8-10 oz lobster tail was perfection -- sweet. Fresh. $35 but -- that seems reasonable for lobster in NYC. And would have cost me like $100 at a restaurant.

Got their Chirashi bowl with salmon, tuna and eel. The add-one's include edamame, avocado, and Tamagoyaki. The fish was fresh and the rice was well seasoned and had great texture.

Just go to Citarella instead!!! Five days in advance I placed an order for a dinner party. I received a text message from them that the order had been received and confirmed. When the delivery date and time went by I called them to see how late the delivery was running. They told me my order had been cancelled and Door Dash should have contacted me. Door Dash. I place a $150 seafood order and they don’t even have the courtesy to call me directly when they screw up. Additionally, they clearly do not have the business acumen to manage a future delivery. They left me with nothing and I would NEVER trust them again. NEVER!!

Pescatore Seafood Company in the Grand Central Market provides a variety of fresh fish, sushi to go and pre-made takeout items like lobster dumplings and crab cakes. We bought a half dozen each of their crab and lobster dumplings on our way to the train. We preferred the lobster. Notable in the filling. If you're a Manhattan resident or if you are a short ride on a commuter train away, there's a lot of beautiful fish choices to bring home for dinner.

I have shopped at Grand Central MARKET for 13 years. I've always stopped at Pescatore but never brought anything. Recently while looking, two very nice young ladies wanted to ensure I was getting help. I decided to buy the shrimp salad roll. I was not disappointed. The Space is small but clean, the staff was very nice and remembered me by face. If you have any food allergies Shell Fish, Peanut butter, etc..) the staff is available to answer any questions. Ohh and their soups are good too.

These people seem genuinely angry and annoyed when having to speak to and serve customers. Every time I go I am either ignored for 5 minutes or someone will angrily ask me if they can help me. Some of the fish is frozen and if you ask if it’s frozen they will become very angry and annoyed. Even the fresh fish tastes off. It’s a shame since i live close by, but I will be taking my business to Midtown Catch despite the longer walk. Your employee’s lack of respect and common courtesy just cost you business!!

Ordered through mercato I wish I could give them 0 I work in a state agency through building management. We order yesterday for 5 lobster rolls and the food stayed there for hours we decided to reschedule it for today. Called in to confirmed the delivery was being made & they lied & told us it was picked up at 2:45 it is now 3:45 they reached back out to tell us the driver just picked up 15mins ago. I thought this was a great location. Will not be ordering from them again. I do not recommend!

I order from Pescatore quite regularly (through Mercato usually) and have never been disappointed (and I’m super picky when it comes to freshness!). My go-to selection usually includes their wild cod, lemon sole, shrimp, and their gluten free lobster cakes.

I made the mistake of passing by Pescatore Seafood time and time again over the past few years...always telling myself "Next time..." I convinced myself that the prices were likely too high for the quantity of seafood in the prepared items which caught my eye...and so I'd save it for a treat. After finally diving in, I have thrown that thinking out the window and will not only make a point of getting to GCT ahead of my future train departure times so I can snag a quick, fresh, light meal...but will make a point to bring a refrigerated bag next time I'm running errands in the area so I can bring some of this goodness home. I've always noticed that PS is kept very clean by a very well put together and seemingly polite staff. All points were true to perception. Both of the staff members I worked with (the young woman who took/fulfilled my order and the cashier) were professional and welcoming. The young woman I worked with was really great at answering my questions and making recommendations, and the cashier was very friendly. I tried: Lobster Roll (Connecticut Style): It looks small for $18. But they have those quaint (and delicious!) brioche rolls PACKED from the bottom right through to the overflowing top. I was impressed by this since I've had smaller and paid more at other NYC lobster roll joints (don't tell me you haven't paid that much or more for a skimpy, flavorless lobster roll and a couple of stale kettle-cooked chips elsewhere...). This roll certainly exceeding expectations. For not coming straight from the kitchen (read: MTO) the cook on the lobster was acceptable, and they certainly nailed the Connecticut Style. I plan to make my way through all other stylings. Spicy Shrimp Taco: Awesome, light, crunchy, mixed-texture treat! It may look like they're skimping on the shrimp. But I guarantee you they are not, especially for the price! The shrimp are cooked (and cleaned) perfectly and the flavors are simply great. My only qualm is that they take a very light approach to "spicy" (and that's with the young woman being nice enough to give me a small side of extra mayo). I still plan to order again. Summer Roll (Thai Peanut): Solid. And SUPER packed with shrimp! A steal at $7. I wish they were more heavy handed with the Thai peanut sauce and those spice flavorings. But glad I tried it. Summer Roll (Curry Shrimp): LOVED this one! Think Singapore Mei Fun in creamy salad form (this is a good...no...great thing). Less shrimp in this one, but so much flavor! Texturally you get creamy, some crunch, some pull from the rice wrapper.....just SO good. All said and done, I purchased four seafood items with what seemed like (close to) half a pound of lobster meat (including claw) and (combined) at least half a pound of shrimp for only $35! Plus everything was fresh and fell somewhere on the good to delicious spectrum? Yes, please! Pescatore Seafood has a new fan, and I so hope you'll give them a try.

Thanks a lots to yelp for recommending Pescatore Seafood. Pleasant atmosphere. Every thing I've tried until now is fantastic. The team was extremely welcoming and service is great. I would come back to this place.
