HIGH CHANCE OF YOU GETTING ROBBED. Saw people complaining to the security about losing their mobile phone and the restaurant did nothing. They didn’t even have courtesy to assist to ask the staff because the previous reviews accuse staff of pick pocketing!!!

Nothing to comment about the food, but be mindful of robberies here. People often lose their mobile phones at this venue. Could be guests, could be staff. Really appreciate if the management can install some cameras for surveillance.

Rooftop is on the 12th floor of the hotel. Stylishly decorated room filled with sectional sofas. Lighting and sound system are vibing. Staffs are friendly.

While I understand that intoxicated clients can sometimes be difficult to deal with, I was highly disappointed with the way a security guard handled a recent situation (Thursday night 8/21). The man in question was not causing a scene; he was simply sitting on the sidewalk, likely waiting for his Uber. Despite this, I witnessed a security guard from the PHD Hotel harass him. The incident occurred on Thursday night. The guard, an African American male, threatened the man by saying, “Trump’s in office, I’m going to call ICE on you.” I AM NOT COMING BACK

I had the pleasure of being served by Edward, and I have to say he was truly exceptional. He was attentive, polite, and always made sure our table was clean and well-stocked without ever interrupting. His positive attitude and strong work ethic didn’t go unnoticed—he moved efficiently and always had a smile on his face.

You can tell he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about the experience of the guests. Edward is a great asset to the team, and I hope he continues to get the recognition he deserves. Thank you, Edward, for helping make our visit so pleasant!

The waitress took nearly 30 minutes to return my card, and when I received the bill, it stated a total of $45 for the two drinks.

However, upon reviewing my bank statement today, I noticed that I was charged $138.00—significantly more than what was indicated on the receipt. Additionally, another woman in my group was also overcharged.

This was my first time visiting PHD Rooftop, and unfortunately, the experience has been disappointing due to this billing issue. I hope this is an isolated incident and not something that happens to other customers. Still waiting for a response

Went to PHD for the first time and wow - what an adventure.

1. A fight broke out where a man was hitting a woman. It escalated to the point they broke a glass table. Security eventually stepped in, choke-held the guy, and threw him out. But not one staff member checked on the woman-she was left sitting alone with her head down. Honestly, the way this place handles customer safety is lawsuit-worthy. Completely unacceptable.

2. One guy politely asked for an extra lime and was told, “Only one.” LOL. I had a rude encounter with a bartender myself. By then, I knew what kind of place this was, so I didn’t let it bother me-and still tipped her 25% because she probably needs the money more than I do.

3. The view is great. But the place runs on volume-chaotic crowd, low-grade service, and college kids fighting each other. With this venue and skyline, they could build a classy, upscale bar that focuses on a better experience and attracts higher-end clientele. More money in that, too.

Extremely poor customer service. Kicked my friends out on the 4th of July and made a huge scene. Were extremely rude to our entire friend group who was trying to leave with them (wouldn’t even let us all in the elevator) and wouldn’t explain to us what they did that deserved getting them kicked out. They were physically aggressive with our friends (shoved them back in the elevator when she was trying to get her boyfriend) and didn’t take accountability. When we asked for an explanation the security “head” gaslit us and told us that our entire group was being rude and aggressive. He took a photo of them in the elevator without their permission or explanation. The club was already very mid and drinks were bad. People were standing on the chairs and totally obstructing view of the stage/DJ. Will never go back again and highly suggest you don’t if you want a fun night with respectful service and bouncers.
