Staff is unnecessarily rude on multiple occasions. Staff also does not have an issue with turning away or losing multiple paying customers a night apparently, and are seen to be powertripping and threatening everyone to be kicked out for even just an inquiry of policy. I requested names of staff in the first incident and the worker did kindly give me her name and her boss' name and did have an attitude change. In the 2nd incident, the staff refused to provide any names and it appeared even management on sight refused to provide their name and also took a recording of me merely because I asked for an explanation due to inconsistency in upholding policy which would obviously give me cause to doubt said policy exists if it is not always being upheld. I had every right to question said policy without being met with attitude or threats and the staff and manager on duty shouldn't have evaded giving me their names else it proves they are aware they are not acting accordingly.

Never going to PHD again, that's for sure.

The rooftop view is excellent. The atmosphere was fun. The staff felt a bit distant. The worst part was the quality of the drinks— a place like this in New York should have top-notch cocktails. The price didn’t match what they offered. I’d give it another chance only because of the view.

We came to halloween day.Dj was terrible before coming we asked what kind of music. They told us all kind of but it wasn’t. Dj was so rude. We just one music and he behaved us very rude. Waitline was so crowded. I hate it. So expensive

The bouncers at the front were discriminating so badly. We came for a rooftop Halloween party and the bouncer snatched my husbands costume crown off his head saying it wasn’t allowed even though they were letting everyone else with headwear in. Then he complained to his manager who we explained the situation to and the manager said the crown is allowed and then the bouncer lied saying he never denied us taking it in. And then the worst part is they made us wait 30min before letting us enter to “cool down” even though we were lied to and discriminated against. Do not go here, total scam.

Half interested staff on a quiet (11/1130pm) Thursday night.

We may have been early. But it isnt a place to head to at the time we went.

The security staff was rude and completely unprofessional. They spoke to us disrespectfully and showed a discriminatory attitude for no reason. On top of that, they refused to refund the tickets we had already paid for.

They ruined the night out we were so excited to enjoy in New York City. A place with such a strong reputation should never allow this kind of treatment toward its guests. Truly disappointing.

Our experience at this venue was truly disappointing. The security staff was unprofessional, rude, and displayed discriminatory behavior. We are visitors from Miami who came to New York to enjoy the city, but instead, we were treated with disrespect and denied entry without any valid reason. To make matters worse, our tickets were not refunded, causing unnecessary frustration and loss.

For a place that promotes itself as an upscale rooftop lounge, the lack of courtesy and professionalism from the staff is unacceptable. We have visited many top clubs in Miami and have never encountered such treatment. I would strongly advise management to review their policies and train their team to treat all guests with respect.

Total scam! MVM oversold the PhD Rooftop Party — we bought 5 tickets, waited over 2 hours, and they refused entry while letting only their friends in. Staff were rude, unprofessional, and completely disrespectful. Do NOT trust this organizer — they cheat people and ruin the night!”

Absolutely terrible experience with MVM Event for Diwali party at PHD. I’ve never seen such discrimination at an event. They treated paying guests horribly while letting their own “VIP favorites” people without tickets, skip the line and get in with zero hassle. Meanwhile, those of us who actually bought tickets and followed the rules were left waiting for hours, ignored.
