PHD Terrace at Dream Midtown

Non-starter. We left. Baruch Hashem.
We were informed at the door that a $150+ bar spend commitment was required just to enter or secure a reservation. This was not clearly disclosed in advance and does not align with the experience at their Midtown location (the one with the floral wall designs).
Transparency matters. If there is a mandatory minimum, it should be communicated upfront so guests can make an informed decision before dealing with congestion pricing and difficult parking.
Baruch Hashem, we had the option to simply leave — and we voted with our pocketbook.
Plan accordingly.

Hit this roof top bar after a show and it was great. The drinks were well made and the food.....delicious.

Very loud, pounding and horrible music, probably fine for a certain crowd but not for any New York tourist that we know. Go to Rickeys on the first floor instead - the bartender JJ there is great!

The worst service that we could have during new year’s eve. SUPER expensive tickets to be standing more than 1h outside, with negative temperature, loosing more than 1h of open bar that we’ve paid for. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANY EVENT, THEY DO NOT HAVE THE CAPACITY TO ORGANIZE ANYTHING

Didn't like it. Another one of those over hyped place with mediocre and over priced drinks and bar food. Not sure why they want you to make reservations for a place that doesn't offer dinner? Service was not great either.

We went there with our friends in November before thanksgiving. We were early and were there at the opening. They check ID before you go up to the bar. The ambience is amazing and the service was great. We had drinks and apps. The calamari was good. The view from terrace is beautiful.

Tapas style food was perfect for a NYC evening. The view was stunning and the winter decor was cozy. Every drink was delicious! The servers were very accommodating.

Very cool spot! It was a treat to get a rooftop bar experience in the dead of winter. Lovely staff, delicious food, great atmosphere. So glad we found it.

Service was extremely subpar this time. Server was dry and quite inexperienced when serving drinks.

Perfect view of Broadway lights at night but the seating looks away from the view. Tiny terrace with good drinks.
