If you want Vietnamese go some where else. The food is priced cheap but you really get what you pay for and in NYC there are way too many options that offer good food. This is not one of them. Avoid.

We’re from SF, been eating Vietnamese food for 40 yrs. This place is delicious and the prices are great for the city. That said if you’re looking to be coddled and treated warmly then go find yourself an overpriced under-flavored whitewashed joint to feel good about. If you’re looking for great food with no frills eat here.Vegetarian options: If you know your pan-Asian dishes you’re all good.

Bad foodThere's nothing else to say

I hate to be so negative, but the Pho is.. very bad. The broth is EXTREMELY salty - all you taste is salt. It tastes like you're eating noodles in hot soy sauce. And the noodles must be overcooked, because they basically disintegrate when you try to eat them. I couldn't eat most of it.The dumplings were fine.

Food is disgusting! This place used to have great tasting food. Not sure what happened. The grilled pork chop dish I ordered literally had a layer of slim covering it. So gross and disgusting, it is literally inedible. $13 bucks down the drain and I’m starving! Never coming here again ?

We were sitting on the patio facing the ocean and enjoying the view with our delicious wine and lunch. We had lunch a few times at this restaurant while visiting family and friends on the island. The servers here are just amazing and seem to have wonderful memories. Must be trying!

One of many authentic Vietnamese cooking you can find around manhattan. very reasonable prices, and super tasty vietnamese cuisine. This is my favorite one so far compared to 5 other vietnamese places i've tried around downtown manhattan.

Portions looked a bit small when served, but the pho and Vietnamese coffee tasted great and the service was excellent!

They have good cubed beef over rice! Cooked medium rare.

Um....I'm never ordered and paid in full for my delivery before on grub hub with the tip included and be hassled for more tip after I already paid it? No matter how good the food is, if you already finalized and paid for your order you shouldn't have to be afraid of the delivery man trying to barge into your home to scavenge for tip money??? This place should change how much the delivery fee is or simply find new employees. As a college student it wasn't the most soothing thing in the world trying to pull an all-nighter; when all I wanted was some late night Asian food :(

Went here for lunch with a friend. We weighed the negative reviews with the positive ones and figured that Pho Seng would be a no-nonsense, hole in the wall type of place where you could get inexpensive and decent pho. The ambiance of the interior was surprisingly nice-- more a casual dining soft lighting restaurant than the brightly lit plastic table diner we were expecting. Waitstaff were courteous and attentive. The pho came out quick, was delicious, and not pricy. We'll be back!

Now called Mamak, this is probably the best Pho spot I have had in a very very long time. Highly recommend, good price and great food. Try the Fried Calamari too.
