Cute spot, but noisy. We ate outside and it was super tight, but inside was too warm with no AC, so that wasn't an option for us on a hot summer day. The food was average -maybe it was what i ordered? I'd go again for convenience because It's a great location in union square.

Our group of ten had a great experience at Pierre Loti. The host was very friendly, helpful and flexible, over the phone and in-person. The menu was diverse, affordable, delicious and well-executed. Everyone in our party was very happy with the food. The servers were efficient and pleasant. We were seated in the quieter bar area and were able to hear each other. Overall, it was a great place for a special event dinner for a group of ten. We will definitely return next year. Thank you for making our event even more special.

Went for lunch after seeing their lunch special which is a great deal for the area. The food was delicious and the space is super cute. My only complaint is that the building is under scaffolding right now so that obviously affects the vibe but I know thats out of their control. Service wise, I wish the waiter had been more attentive to bringing us water because we were quite thirsty the whole time and he never came back between when we first sat and when we got the check to bring more water.

Love the attentive service you get from the owner/maitre d' and the lovely, helpful waitstaff. This is a neighborhood gem, cozy and fun with a rockin' bar scene to boot. I've been back several times and really enjoy the ambiance, food and cocktails. My friends and I had a great time out most recently. Looking forward to returning soon.

We always have such a good time at Pierre Loti. The food is delicious (we love all the mezze) and the service is always cheerful and attentive. Great portion sizes and good wine selection. It's equally as good for large group dinners, or a date night. Cheers!

Their hospitality was A-1 - friendly, personal, welcoming - which right out of the gate was lovely (a lost art at many restaurants). That combined with a classy but down to earth atmosphere, perfect lighting, delicious food... I would absolutely go back when heading to that part of town and will recommend it to friends.

The appetizers were better than main dishes. The lentil soup was very good. We expected mummara to be a warm appetizer, it was cold. The okra dish had little taste. The salmon was too salty.

Warm and welcoming owners and space in a great location for Vineyard Theater and the area. Soft lighting, contemporary and comfortable chairs, classy bar, nicely spaced tables including half a dozen large hightops. Great drinks menu. The house Montepulciano (red) is among the best we've tasted. Happy Hour menu is extensive and well-priced, and portions of their Mediterranean fare are generous. Delicious baba ganoush, hummus, falafel, and lamb. We enjoyed it so much we returned after theater for light bites (assortment of three unusual and yummy bruschetta) and dessert. Never had a poached pear so large, and so delicious we ordered two! The larger part of the restaurant is undergoing renovations and that suited us fine. Highly recommend it!
