This place can be a bit hit or miss, but when it hits, it really hits. Some nights are a bit low energy and you feel like leaving after a few minutes. But other nights have been insanely fun. There's no cover charge, and only $2 to put in a song request, so it's definitely worth popping in to see if the vibe is good that night.

Out of all the places I went to in New York during summer 2024, this is easily the most memorable one. The decoration may be unassuming and the space may be a bit tinier than you expect, but the Karaoke vibe overall is immaculate. The Karaoke sign up system is also interestingly old fashioned. A lovely place overall.

Been here a couple times, Great for cheap karaoke and drinks. Some of the staff is friendlier than others. There’s one guy there that’s really rude for no reason. Stick to beers unless you like strong drinks! I believe week days it’s free songs with your drink. weekends it’s $2 per song. never ate here so i can’t review that. bathrooms are typical bar bathrooms, icky with character. ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK FOR TOILET PAPER AND SOAP, ITS NOT ALWAYS THERE!

Everyone is welcome, and the crew is great.If you read Planet Rose Atlantic City like Simply Mz Kira wrote, it's not even in the same state, so a few reviewers like that may have had a few too many if they leave a review for a place in NYC based on AC.There's no skipping the line by paying extra on songs at NYC's Planet Rose.

Karaoke was fun but the machine was a bit glitchy. Drinks were not great so I stuck to bottled beers after my first one. The bathroom was a disaster; I had to use the restroom in the bar next door.
