One of our favorite places to eat when seeing a show. Randomly stumbled into it last year. The chicken Caesar salad is quite phenomenal and my companion said the turkey burger was surprisingly good. Everything we've had there is great (with the exception of the truffle fries).

Quick warning that the restaurant is up a flight of stairs, don't believe there is an elevator.
Very cosy and heartly atmosphere. Singer Kurt has an amazingly moving voice!!! We loved his vibrato and also his good vibes!!! As we were singing and dancing along to his songs he grabbed my cell phone and started to record us and himself with us in the background. He even sang a few lines without mic. He did it HIS way. And that was perfect!
Amazing experience!!!
We will definitely come back!!!
Thank you!

We recently had dinner at the Playwright following the Riverdance show at Radio City. The atmosphere, food and service were terrific. The fried calamari appetizer was crispy, juicy and delicious. The Guinness beef stew and the Irish chicken were the perfect comfort foods, washed down with a well poured Guinness! All topped off with the wonderful Irish apple pie and traditional Irish coffees. We look forward to returning soon!
