Great coffee shop, but 2 stars off for being aggressively dog unfriendly. Came here on a very hot summer day (90° +) and while most places will let you stand by the door with a well-behaved leashed dog, this place will force you outside in the heat to wait for your to-go drink.
Stayed in Harlem for 6 weeks over the summer. Tried several coffee shops in the first week I was there and easily made this one my “go-to”. Their coffee is truly un matched. I consider myself a bit of a coffee “snob” having grown up with parents who owned a coffee shop, and having traveled to countries that are known for their coffee. Good chill music. Ideal atmosphere for those who want to focus and get things done. WiFi, accessible plugs and many tables. There’s a piano and a chessboard. Yummy pretzel and very good pain au chocolate. The coffee was small, but the flavor was great.
