Horrible customer service- I had points for a free item and they did not know how to scan for it on their end. I lost the points and they told me to contact customer service and did not even provide receipt or record of the transaction… they did not offer to contact corporate on their end and just stopped dealing with me.

I have never in my entire life felt so much humiliation and utmost disrespected as much as I had today. I had ordered a 3 piece chicken online through the app. Apparently, the chicken was overcooked and burnt and I politely requested for fresh pieces of chicken. The server, Afrien started accusing me of doing this every time I come to Popeyes! I responded telling them, I rarely go..and then she threatened me that I cannot come back again! I am beyond disgusted and will be contacting my lawyers in filing a suit!!!

I’m an Uber eats delivery person. I happen to accept an order from this place. Upon arriving like always politely wait to get the lady’s attention and proceeded to ask for my customers order to this point is all fine until. I’m being asked to fill up drinks to my surprise. We as uber drivers are supposed to go pick up and deliver that’s out contract with uber eats. We don’t work for the establishments. I wouldn’t have mind helping but behind the counter there were 5 other people that work there so I told the lady sorry but I can help you is not part of my contract ( the lady had an attitude as well. If she was nicer about I would have mind helping) And him had politely asked to properly pack the food and drink so it doesn’t spill, but he’ll broke down after they she grabbed the bag out of my hands and told me to cancel the order. ( I should have ) I informed them that I have more more from a different restaurant for the same person and that I wouldn’t cancel it . After I left with the food they retaliated against me by submitting a report with uber eats and questioning my professionalism. I did nothing wrong just I don’t work there and my contract with uber states that I pick up a properly packed and sealed order and deliver. Their report which is unfortunate and malicious have affected my rating and I could lose some of the benefits uber offers for being a good delivery person. I been told I can actually make a complaint with the city and could lawsuit the place .
Idk what’s wrong with this Popeyes but it’s somehow the only once I’ve ever been to that’s consistently good & friendly. Will always come back! Please don’t change

Let me start off - I love Popeyes. I will take Popeyes fried chicken over almost any other with some standout exceptions, including Charles’ and Melba’s in NYC and McHardy’s in New Orleans.
So this is more of a specific review of the relatively newly released wings. I got a spicy hot six piece. As I was eating them, I could see how it might be hard to stop. It’s kind of an overwhelming supercharged spicy, salty, sweet combination that leaves you feeling that anything else you eat for the rest of your life will taste bland and devoid of flavor.
But when you actually think of flavor, you really there is t much beyond the high salt, high sugar, high heat. The chicken itself has no flavor. The wings are greasy (no surprise) and the breading is probably 60 percent of the mass of the wings in front of you. I’m not sure if the wings are coated in some sort of spice blend, but the external pieces tasted frilly, almost like someone had dumped sand on the wings before serving.
My final takeaway is that these wings taste like the wonderful chicken sandwich, except as if, that sandwich had no roll and no actual chicken. All you are getting is overly spiced breading.
At almost 200 calories PER WING, I’ll take a pass.
