The food is okay for the location of the Resturant. Overall the customer service is terrible you’d think the employees didn’t receive any training on how to interact with customers. I’m grateful for the handful of pleasant experiences I had there. The decor is nice it’s the just the smell of solicitors they allow to hangout inside the store that makes me rate the atmosphere so slow. If this store got under better management and expanded their race options when hiring they could really thrive.
They have like 5 homeless people sitting and yelling at you every time you go here. Also they throw food at

AWFUL PLACE AND SERVICE. I ordered drumstick, they gave me breast, I ordered 4 pieces they gave me two, I ordered regular, they gave me spicy. how can they make everything wrong?and not mention there are people in the store asking for money and yelling at the customers.

Overpriced, fast food excellent service though. No matter how hungry I may be, I never eat at Popeyes. However, I cannot resist the equally horrible, Texas spicy ? fried ? chicken ?... It's so unkosher yet, the spicy ? fried chicken ? is just awesome! Gosh, my grandfather's probably rolling in his grave, as he was a rabbi!

This review is for Popeyes on third Avenue and E. 87th St.Never would believe I would eat in a fast food restaurant. Two people who are in the food business recommended this to me.The chicken was terrific. The coleslaw was excellent. The mashed potatoes were a really good comfort food on a cold day. The biscuits are very dry and very small for the price.The staff is very nice and friendly and helpful.Mostly I take out and make Pillsberry biscuits.My only complaint is that the restaurant is not clean. The garbage pail is overflowing!They need more people to wipe down the tables and empty the trash.I would like a menu to take home and think about what I might like to eat the next time.The menus are very high up on the wall and difficult to read. The staff is willing to help you, but you certainly don't want to stand and hold up a line while someone tells you what your options are.

Several times going here there's always confusion with the two lines instead of taking orders and calling people they just do it one by one its very slow ? sometimes they do the 2 lines but then still take a order then serve instead of taking multiple then serving its much quicker also they decide to put pickles when I asked not to then want to remove it they had to remake it very inconvenient the frozen machine is always out and it seem the oil isn't always fresh also the tables usually are a mess and there is homeless people that regularly harass customers this is very unsanitary and unprofessional the few times I decide to give it a try it is usually uncomfortable this is mostly every location by the way I try n give a good rating if these ever improve not very handicap friendly also these locations very hard to enter usually a Maze getting inside ....Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible at all

This is a work area Popeyes for me and I'm cool with that. The chicken is always fresh and tasty due to the large turnover. The food doesn't have time to get stale. That's a great thing. My issue is with the overall environment. The employees here seem to only be concerned with food preparation and not one bit with the comfort of us (patrons) on the other side of the partition. Vagrants of all types are allowed to approach and hassle customers. It starts with the guy begging for change at the front door and then there's the people walking up to you, soliciting money while you wait on the food line. It's very troublesome and makes me want to stay away but Popeyes fits into my weekly lunch budget.
