It's a surprisingly nice sandwich shop in Midtown. I ordered the wreck and my partner a sandwich with meats. The staff are quite friendly and the menu is designed to help you build a sandwich on a similar principle to eg Subway. Would I be back? Probably Yes

Honestly I love going here. The food is great and not too badly priced considering they almost always have a deal when I go. But this past few times I have been coming to pick up my mobile order and the door has been locked. It hasn’t really been a problem for me because normally when I knock they open the door.Today I went at 5:55 to pick up a Mobile order I placed and the door was locked. I proceed to knock and the worker looks at me with a blank look. I say I’m here for a Mobil order. He comes to the door and is inside staring at me through the glass waiting for me to show him my order placed on my phone. I show him And then asks for my name. He leaves me outside and locks the door back and gets my food, unlocks the door, and hands it to me. It is December and very cold outside and I found it very rude to have me waiting outside while the restaurant is technically still open. Usually at this location the workers are berry sweet but that was beet unprofessional.

I was instructed by the business manager to reach out to their customer service team by email, which I did on 10/24/2023, and I never received a response. I added one star for the food.

I highly recommend Potbelly for a solid sub in the city. I usually get the wreck or the Italian, both are delicious. Add some oil and seasoning to make your sandwich juicer and more flavorful. They don’t skimp out on the fillings (meats, hot peppers, etc). Ordering through the app and doing pickup is fast and convenient. Their sandwiches are the perfect size (original size) to fill you up but not stuff you. Give it a shot!

My friend and I went after our visit to MoMa. We both ordered the Steakhouse Beef sandwich. We got it on multigrain bread, you also get a choice in size. The Steakhouse Beef packs alot of flavor. This sandwich comes with Angus roast beef, crumbled blue cheese, provolone and horseradish aioli. We arrived, got in line. The lunch rush was in full effect. One of the employees came out to the line and took our order. That line moves quickly efficiently. When you get near your order, you are asked if you would like anything else on your sandwich. We kept ours per the menu.I must confess, I took a bite of my sandwich as I sat in my seat on the train. It was a wrap! I don't usually eat on the train. But this sandwich and all it glorious flavors had me devour it. I ordered a 9-inch multigrain bread and it all worked together. The serve was good. It was crowded, but nobody was rude.I will be back!

How are there negative reviews on this place? Their sandwiches are delicious, fairly priced and service is fast! Staff is nice and very efficient.

When your office moves, it's time to find new spots to eat at! Though we didn't go very far it's nice being closer to GCT, but I digress! The sandwiches here are a far better option than Subway, and the wait usually is minimal. Order ahead if you have a short lunch break, but then again it's best to do that most places in midtown anyway.

I was really hungry and thought a sandwich. Quick filling and hard to mess up. Slow tasteless and I felt nauseous the rest of the work day.

I always order from here for lunch and now I'm sad to stop because there was MOLD on the bread of my sandwich. It truly is unfortunate for a place that makes good sandwiches. How can the person making the sandwich miss this?

The first time I came here all the workers was soo welcoming and nice. I was surprised on how fast I was in and out (approx 5 mins.) Mind you there was a line all the way to the door. The efficiency, communication, and passion the team displayed working was exceptional! Lauren (I believe that was her name) assisted me with making my sandwich. Since it was my first time here I had asked her for her recommendations. I really do appreciate her taking the time to explain to me how the menu works as well as her recommendations and why she recommends them. I didn't feel rushed and appreciate the attention and time she spent with me. Next stop was the register. A gentleman with glasses (I believe his name was Nolan) was eccentric, polite, courteous and very happy. They recommended their favorite snacks and told me about the other drinks and options to add to my order. I'm glad I listened because the cookies they have are amazing. I'm not to good when it comes to technology and stuff, I also love saving money. What I do appreciate is them letting me know about their app and all the great ways I can earn meals and treats. To make my experience even better. The gentle man asked if I can give him a few minutes to assist the other customers and he can help me set it up. Not only did he help me set it up but I get a free sandwich as well after my first order. I'm soo happy I found this spot. The food is great and staff are soo professional, personable and caring. I can not express the gratitude and appreciation I have for this location. It's soo hard to find a healthy decent meal now and days especially during a 45 min lunch break. Food was great and tasty. Ever since my first day here, I only come here for my lunch breaks and recommend this location to everyone I know and my co workers. Thank you potbelly for an amazing team. EVERY-TIME I come here they surpass any and all expectations phenomenally. Every one I've sent there to get lunch has had similar experiences. What's best about this place is the consistency in their service, work, and energy. Kudos to potbelly on 52nd and 3rd. Btw. After reviewing the negative reviews I have to strongly disagree with everything they say. They must of had a bad day or something but this place is awesome. I love it here. Can ever go wrong coming here. I love getting the sandwich and soup pair.

This is the "sandwich" Potbelly had the nerve to charge me $17.77 for.The 1 ? rating is for the soup.

The Pizza Melt sandwich made for a fine lunch. The Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies were also good.It may be better to order out as there is no indoor dining at this time and the restroom is unavailable. There are seats and tables outside.
