Very good sandwiches, very friendly staff with foreigners

I love Potbelly's. Been a fan for years. I've tried all the sandwiches and soups but I tend to stick to the mushroom melt. For some reason, I like the taste and texture of sauteed mushrooms with cheese.I don't go as often because it's gotten pretty expensive these days, but if I get something in my rewards like a free cookie, I take advantage of it.I don't typically get meals. Just the sandwich. I go to this location often because it's near the train that I take. There are other locations, but I can only review this one because it's the only one I go to. The food is always good, the staff is great and it's typically busy.

I really liked the steakhouse beef. They do it well. Have your bread warmed as well. It's flowing. It also has enough seating.

Catastrophic service! When you order a lunch for a meeting of 15 people, and it doesn’t show up and not only that, when you call, they are unable to track it and lie about it’s whereabouts…That is a disaster and unacceptable since technology exists to track everything. I ended up being 30 minutes late to a meeting that was supposed to last 45 minutes trying to chase down some food elsewhere to provide to the sales team. Yes, they reimbursed the meal that never arrived but that does not offset the cost of flying out to New York, hotel, and just overall embarrassment in front of a client.

Unfortunately, Potbelly has lost my business completely. I visit this location once a week, and usually, everything is seamless. Today's visit left me feeling frustrated and hungry. When I walked up to place my order, 3 employees were having a rather spirited conversation.I originally wrote this review weeks ago and sat on it because i was frustrated. In this time, I have made a few trips during the week with great success. However, today's incident cemented my decision to never willingly give money to receive such horrible treatment. I'll set the scene. I walk into the shop at 2:02pm and i wait until the 5 employees finish their conversations... there were 3 others in front of me and no one behind. At 2:06PM I was asked my order to which I responded Regular sized Avo turkey on whole wheat. By 2:17PM I'm still waiting. The employees are in a thrilling discussion about one of their Instagram presence and how is partner doesn't help so he has to do it all himself. By 2:20PM i started to believe i had hallucinated making my initial order. By 2:25 the Instagram employee hands me a sandwich. Mind you it was not the sandwich i ordered. Needless to say I was beyond irritated. But my torment wasn't quite over. I then go to the register and eventually greeted by a young lady. After she had several more moments of cross talk with her coworkers she asks... "what is the sandwich?" I responded - "i ordered the Regular sized Avo turkey on wheat, however this isn't what this sandwich is" . She says "what is it?" To which i respond, "i have no idea since i didn't make it but it was fine, just ring me up so i can leave and never come back" she turned and walked away... i also left without a sandwich and having wasted half an hour of my precious lunch hour....Horrible form... what an extraordinary disappointment

This was my first time at Potbelly. It was a Saturday at 5:30pm. I ordered the Mediterranean sandwich meal without any personal variations. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I brought my meal upstairs which wasn't necessary but wanted to explore the place. I enjoyed my meal while listening to what I would guess as modern folk tunes and watching the hustle and bustle of the city. I was very pleased with my meal keeping in mind that it's a franchised restaurant. I'll eat my Zapp's Hotter 'N Hot Jalapeno Chips later.

This review is based on my Powerhouse Salad and Steak Sandwich. To the young man who took his time in taking my order, and the time and make my sandwich (make no mistake, your efforts were noticed and much appreciated)!Though I did not catch your name, I will make the extra effort to return for your name. To the young lady who was my cashier - thank you, but please acknowledge your public view role and the language which is spoken is a reflection not only on yourself but the company. Try not to use profanity in front of customers.

Went out for brunch. Was our first time in the restaurant. Interior was cool and lots of space to sit. The heavy set guy with the beard . Looks like he couldn't be bothered especially when we try to ask questions about the subs . Like it was the last thing he wanted to do . The AA guy that was making the sub was nice and patient with us explaining the wording of the subs. The subs themselves was bland and not much taste to them. Limited options on sauce and toppings. Its like of subway but more expensive.

Food is great. Love the service. Just not enough workers. Pickup order took 40 minutes to make. Walk ins got their food before I did even tho I order 30 minutes before them.Used to come in 2-3 times per week but I’m seriously reconsidering not coming anymore.

Grabbed a bite before our train back home. It was very quiet and we enjoyed our mini sandwiches and sides. Mac and cheese was as expected and the chicken pot pie soup was the bomb. Spent about an hour here getting out of the cold, charging our phones, and using their bathroom.

Great staff and customer service. Tables are usually kept clean when I visit. And food is always fresh. Location is large, with lots of seatings, hence the 5 stars rating. The place is an old fashion Sandwich shop and have a fast an efficient process to get customers in and out. Right when you walk in through the revolving door you know this is gonna be good and it is. I got the wreak with hot peppers mayo oil lettuce tomato and it was perfect!! If you want a good sub in fashion district go to potbelly.

Stop in here every once in a while, for lunch, food is consistently prepared with the service fast and friendly. Never seen it too busy...but typically go before the main lunch rush. What I'd expect for a Potbelly Sandwich Shop.

We had the Avo turkey & Chicken Club sandwich, they were delicious and fresh. Staff are very friendly and they have a nice area to sit down , also their oatmeal chocolate cookie is delicious . I highly recommended it .
