The food is passable (sandwiches are sometimes stale) but $19.50 for a mid-sandwich chips and a soda? $2.50 for a can of warm coke? And if Pret’s revenue is up so much how come they can’t pay their employees more (the checkout asks you to tip them so I assume they earn the $10.65 NYC tipped food service wage)?

I signed up for the monthly pret plan that is $40 per month for unlimited beverages and 20% of food purchases. It’s a pretty great deal as my office is a block away and drinks are $7 for a large. I’ve gotten my morning coffee thereHowever, The staff here just seems unhappy as they are not friendly nor even pleasant. Additionally, In the first three orders they have gotten them incorrect. When asked nicely about the mistake i’ve been either addressed with direct attitude or with silence when fixing the order.I wont be renewing my subscription because of this location.
