We arrived by chance at Prova Pizzabar. It is just below Grand Central. It goes a little unnoticed but it has been a great find. Excellent service. But especially the pizzas!!! They are delicious. I especially recommend the 4 cheese one.

My main experience was with the bartender Edgar who was aware, courteous and effective. I stopped by to grab a drink and wait for my train, and was wonderfully surprised by the service and price point. Will be back again :)

Oh my days is the pizza here AMAZING!!10/10 all around. I had the margarita slice, it was THE BEST pizza i had in my time in NYC, the sauce was so flavourful, tomatoy and herby, sweet but salty, it complimented the cheese so well, and the base was nice a crispy but still a little soft, perfectly cooked. The service was quick, no time for chatting as it was so busy but the service was still great! Massive line went down in just 5 minutes!Like 4 of us out of my group has pizza from there and everybody was in love with it!! They all had much more exciting pizza like a peperoni slice, chicken something, a spinach and ricotta pocket. Im happy with my margarita slice aha. All of the food looked and tasted amazing!!200/10 recommend, definitely visit if you get the chance!!!Great prices for the food and hard work of the staff

It wouldn’t be a trip to Grand Central if I didn’t stop at Prova Pizza! This is a great spot where you can pick up a quick slice or if you have to wait a bit longer you can grab a drink at the bar. Cheers to the staff; they are awesome!

Was looking for food in the Grand Central area and didn't want to wait for Shake Shack and I found this pizza stand on the corner next to Shake Shack. Slice is about $7, which is on the expensive side so I guess you're paying for convenience. I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch and their Prova Special, which is just a Meatlover slice. Both were square pizzas. Overall they both tasted fine. Service is pretty friendly. All of the dry peppers, cheese, and whatever else you want to sprinkle on top of your pizza is at the cash register as well as the napkins.

Pass... Cafeteria food, $5-7 a slice. The chicken picatta slice redeems this place. If you have a hankering for regular middle school medium-thick pizza, sure. If you're looking for flavor go somewhere else. Could only find standing seating around!

Horrible customer from the waitress. And besides that they charge an “auto gratuity” of 20%. Do not give your money to this

I'm from Germany and I was hungry.I saw Prova Pizzabar in the Dining Voncourse at Grand Central Station. Staff friendly and the pizza is good, the prices are fair. It's not as thin as Italian pizzas, but it's still very tasty. I had NY cheese and spinach with

The pizza crust was disappointingly doughy and undercooked, resembling a frozen pizza. The taste left much to be desired, and the overall ambiance was marred by a disturbing smell in the restaurant. On the positive side, service was fast, and the server was notably nice and attentive. However, the high prices didn't justify the subpar food quality.
