Qi was fantastic! The staff was super friendly. Recommend getting a reservation but we were able to be seated fairly quickly without one. The pad see ew was very flavorful and not spicy. The panda drink was great and even came in the cutest container. Will definitely be coming back!

Stopped by for drinks before the theater. Great happy hour drink specials. $7 margaritas and $6 wine. Spicy Sriracha Wings we’re delish. 6 wings in a spicy glazed sauce. The 5 Honey Ribs come 6 to an order and we’re very good. Service was good. Perfect snack before a show and just a couple of blocks from the theater.

Burmese yea leaf salad — good presentation but very much subdued or drowned out tea leaf flavor and aroma because of a sweet dressing. It is not what one would expect from a tea leaf salad.Pad Thai — unfortunately also falls flat. It had a fishy aroma and it also took extra long to come out (almost ten minutes after finishing my salad). The noodles were a bit too soggy as if overdone. They also seem to be understaffed, so overall this was just a unsatisfactory experience in addition to the inattentiveness of their only employee ?

The ambience of the place is very chill and enjoyable. A nice little cozy spot to bring a date.I've been for lunch and dinner - drinks are definitely worth it.The only reason I'm docking a star was that the chicken and waffles I ordered, and the sautéed basil dish were not great :/ their curries are delicious though!

Ordered takeout here while visiting the city. I ordered the Salmon soup in coconut milk and the packaging was so poorly and carelessly done that the container busted on my way home. I was able to rescue half the contents by stopping at restaurant and asking for a plastic bag before the paper bag fully ripped. But wait. There's more! When I arrived home to eat the meal I come to find that there is no salmon at all in my Salmon soup. The salmon was left out. I tried to call the restaurant to let them know and refund my money but they are not picking up and voice-mail is full. I am very disappointed. Buyer beware! Leaving 2 stars because I am a nice person and I know they tried. It was quite busy during Pride.

Stopped in for drinks before the theater. Nice Happy Hour drink menu. $7 margaritas, $6 wine and $8 lycheetinis. Had a couple of appetizers. Spicy sriracha wings were excellent. 6 wings in a glazed sriracha sauce. Five Spice Honey Ribs come 6 small ribs with amazing flavor. Didn't have dinner but what I saw being served looked good. They say they serve Thai comfort food.... And yes they do.

Qi is a wonderful restaurant and I cannot wait to go back! The service was warm and welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious! My best friend and I were in NYC for a "pre-celebration" of my birthday. I wanted to go somewhere special and had reserved a table at another restaurant, specifically noting it was for a birthday celebration. After waiting in a long reservation line, the tired-looking hostess barely said a word, then sat us at a table that was smaller than the menus. It was a very tight fit and we were right next to an extremely busy wait station. The prices at this restaurant were quite high and and the whole situation felt disappointing and wrong. So, instead of suffering through a sub-par, ridiculously expensive experience, we decided to leave before ordering. We walked out into the sunset in the hopes of coming across something special. And then we found Qi Thai Comfort Food. From the outside, the restaurant looks quite lovely and, once inside, you can't help but love the atmosphere and all the special details: gorgeous indigo blue wooden screens, blue mosaic tiled floors, a crystal chandelier, and wallpaper that first reads as a traditional toile but is filled with creative, hidden imagery where you keep finding new things every time you look! We got a bottle of Prosecco and split the Assorted Fritters Appetizer with two delicious sauces (one peanut, one chili based). I ordered the Massaman Curry with beef and my friend had the Pad Thai. Everything was perfection! So, so delicious!! I am so glad that we discovered this beautiful and magical "Restaurant of Requirement" and look forward to eating there again the next time I am in Manhattan.

Stopped into this place for dinner. It’s a small, cute neighborhood place. Loved the food and ambiance. I had the red curry with shrimp. It came out hot, spicy and very tasty. I highly recommend.

Nice place with great food. We ordered two soups including the five spices beef soup, probably one of the best Asian soup we had in our entire lives. We highly recommend this place.Food is worth the money.

I had been wanting to try this place since it opened a while back! The outside front is minimalist and intriguing, so I'd been eyeing it for a while. My cousin came to visit, so I thought it was the perfect time to try it out and impress her with some New York cuisine! I loved the ambiance and decor in the restaurant. It was very classy, sleek, modern, and urban, all while keeping the Thai vibes alive. We both ordered shrimp pad Thai and it completely hit the spot. I also downed an appetizer of edamame by myself (I was really hungry!). The service was quick and the staff were very pleasant. I recently moved from Hell's Kitchen, which is a bummer because I was excited to see their lunch menu. It was really affordable, and I'm sure it is delicious as well.

Super cute Thai place. It will have super good vibes in the summer because they have a wide open window and just super chill vibes. Good food nothing spectacular but good!

Really like the food, and personally, I think it's one of the best Thai restaurants in Hell's Kitchen. I have ordered here a lot, but there a few issues that come up now and then: they often deliver orders late, (past an hour), and if you try to call and check on your order, their mailbox is full and they don't pick up. This doesn't happen all the time, but often enough to be annoying. Also, sometimes the dishes are inconsistent. One day they will be truly outstanding, the next they will be just OK. Not inedible, just not with the same love and care. I think their best chef or chefs might be on duty during Fridays and the weekends, but can't tell. Finally, I've ordered here enough times (like ca. 50) that you'd like they'd know who I am by now, but no dice. Not that I expect to be treated special, but maybe a little thanks for ordering here so many times. Otherwise, the food is great and the service is fine. Decor is nice when you eat in as well, and whenever I'm there it's not too loud.

We stumbled upon Qi for happy hour and what a happy accident! The interior is beautiful and the ambiance is great. We ordered the Lychee Martini and Burmese Tea Leaf salad, both of which were excellent. Prices were reasonable and we will plan to return.

Had takeout from this place twice and the beef pad see ew is THE BEST in the city. 4 stars because the other items are not as good; will definitely try the Thai iced tea and coffee next time
