This was my first time here, but the food was phenomenal. My friends and I were looking for Ethiopian food on the West Side while walking around and Queen of Sheba popped up. Perfect New York find for us. There was great spice and interesting unique flavors, even for an Ethiopian restaurant. I wish we had more Ethiopian food out in Queens. I will definitely be coming back. Great veg. options and friendly staff.

The service was great and the food was delicious. The portions were very large which I appreciated. A great spot for Ethiopian food!

Loved the 'Taste of Sheba' combination platter of beef, lamb & veggie dishes served on a giant injera!

The ground beef dish (menchet abesh wot) in a slightly spicy green pepper, red wine and jalapeño sauce is excellent. Beef in Chickpea gravy (bozena shiro) is also flavorful. Surprised at the excellent taste of the veggie dishes (steamed collard greens & yellow split chickpeas simmered in turmeric& ginger sauce).

Fantastic introduction to Ethiopian cuisine!

The food was not bad, but the B category did not inspire much confidence.

Small place- only about 7 or 8 tables. Atmosphere was unremarkable, but the service was good and the food very good. They were out of most of the items on the dessert menu, but the baklava they did have was good.

Parking: Street parking, not sure if paid or free- we walked

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! The food was incredible, super authentic Ethiopian food with delicious flavors and combos. We got the Sheba Vegetarian Sampler Platter for 2 and would be really hard pressed to pick a favorite food. And the sambousas were life changing - so flaky and a little spicy with a perfect filling. The injera was super moist and flavorful, and the staff was very attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend! Ideal for smal groups as the restaurant isn't super large inside.

My husband brought me here to try my very first Ethiopian food ❤️ we got the Taste of Sheba platter for $32 .. and the vegetarian version.. they put it in one big platter.. i think this is the best option if you don’t know what to get 😁 since it will make you try their dishes in small portions.. everything is very flavorful and delicious.. I can’t even remember all the names of what i ate 🤣

This was good, but not delicious Ethiopian food.
Dishes were served warm, but not hot, and unfortunately, the injera (crepe/bread) was served cold.
The lamb was tough and the green beans were mushy. The minced tilapia was the best dish.
They got my fish order initially wrong but at least corrected it quickly.

We went on vacation to New York from DC area and visited this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee and incense transported us to another level. We were warmly greeted, and the delicious food did not disappoint. Overall, the hospitality and experience were exceptional. Thank you to the entire team!
