First of all, the place is very nice, we met the bartender Arda, he has a great presentation and a great conversation, he is a friendly, knowledgeable and sincere friend, he has a good energy that comes from loving his job.

They asked us for a reservation, since we didn't have one, they gave us a table outside. The restaurant is empty at all times. The waiter is not friendly at all. Good food. It's not worth going back. They charged us for the service in advance

One of the best Italian food in NY. My husband took me here for my birthday date, and the food was absolutely mind blowing. I have tried a lot of NY Italian upscale restaurants, and this was definitely on top. They have a lot of vegetarian options too. I got gnocchi and patate. It was exceptional. Apart from the quality and taste of food, ambience and service was amazing too.

We stopped by on a food tour and had a margarita pizza, an eggplant pasta dish (Rollatini), and a sangria. Everything was really good. They have a coal burning oven for which new installations were outlawed years ago but all existing ones were grandfathered in. I liked the vibe in the restaurant.

A little disappointed. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Waiter had no personality, very abrupt. Drink orders took very long. I always had the shaved artichoke salad and pappardelle. This time I decided to try something new. I had the arancini and the chicken parm. The arancini was just okay, chicken parm was very greasy and the spaghetti accompaniment had no flavor. I don't think I need to return. AND, having people constantly bumping into my chair throughout the night was extremely annoying.

Had a date night here with a reservation on a Saturday. It was not packed, food was great. Prices were average for this area in Manhattan. Only star off for the atmosphere, it wasn't quite the NYC hot spot you would want for a Saturday night. Definitely enjoyed the dinner overall.

Big fan of this place. Decent wine list, wonderful service, and Italian dishes done well. This is a can't-miss place.

The service was fast and super nice, they put us in the basement at request because one of my friends is super loud and thinks sound travels in one direction. Food is great too, for an Italian spot I'd say it's on the lighter side because I felt good after eating a lot. Not too salty. Great spot!

The food at this restaurant is what always brings me back and I have never had a bad meal here. I leave all plates clean and want more. It is also hard to decide what to get because everything is so delicious. I especially love the meatball appetizer called Polpettine. I have it every time I go there without fail. The fried artichokes (Carciofi?) are a crispy and crunchy delight, too. All main courses are wonderful. There is a good wine selection. The place does get busy, so I recommend a reservation. Although I have gone there without, and they have been able to accommodate me. The Maitre D' is welcoming, the waitstaff are all attentive and wonderful especially outgoing and friendly Victor, who also doubles as a bartender.

I've been here 5 times. The Italian food and wine are very authentic and very good. Service is prompt and attentive. Unfortunately on my last visit on 3/16, my date and I were charged $9 for sparkling water which we neither ordered nor drank. It was partly our fault because we didn't check the bill before paying and leaving.

Excellent food and very large portions. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Authentic Italian. Also, patio seating is available.

The food was OK. Brussel sprout side dish was excellent. But everything else was really bad. Table for 6 with a reservation. We were told we had to leave by 8:15. The service was slower than molasses running uphill in January. They brought out each dish at different times, so at any given time, someone had no food. Plates were snatched away before we were finished. The staff was flustered for no reason, as the restaurant wasn't even 1/2 full. The bathroom (only 1) was in the middle of the main floor with a door that opened out to the kitchen and dining area. And to cap it off, the bill added in a tip. Absolutely a deal breaker. Apparently, they don't understand that a tip is for services rendered. The service was awful. If I could have left no tip at all, I would have. Don't believe the hype. Order take out for the food. Do not eat in.

This is just an amazing Italian restaurant. The food was made fresh right in front of us. You can see in the photo I tagged the chef is making the pizza fresh. The eggplant rotini was amazing. The ricotta cheese was so soft and creamy. The sauce was perfection, and then we also got fresh focaccia bread. The service was so good I loved how it's an open kitchen concept and you can watch the chefs cook. Everything was also super fast.

A comfortable Italian restaurant in west village with a large menu selection. Nice open dining space with an enclosed outdoor area. Portion sizes are for individual, not family style. Lots of options to choose from pizza, lasagna to pasta and proteins. Really like the Italian cheesecake. A good place to brunch or have dinner.
