Raku It’s Japanese II has the perfect blend of homey interior (it’s tucked away off the avenue and partially downstairs), super attentive and friendly staff, and amazing food that has a lot of value. Their bento boxes and maki combos are so good and they have lots of vegetarian options too. The bento box comes with ice cream too!
Cozy spot that's perfect for a quiet lunch or date night. The sushi rolls are well made and reasonably priced, service is quick and the staff is very friendly. It's one of my go-to spots in the area.
I order here consistently, for over a period of five years, and this place has been around wayyyyyyy longer than that. Neighborhood institution, as storied as the museum of natural history. Think very high quality suburban sushi - note this isn’t a spot for omakase but a place for boats, rolls, etc. Great fish, interesting rolls, and fast delivery.
