Really surprised this was on Guide Michelin. The food is good. Wine selection is extensive. But man, the ambiance and service were quite mid. We listened to Led Zeppelin, then Rolling Stones, a soft jazz instrumental, then back to CCR, and into No Diggity, then Talking Heads. Someone’s Spotify was set to “shuffle all”. The playlist was a weird assortment of jarring high-volume songs that didn’t work for the intimate dining experience we were expecting. I couldn’t hear...
Super vibey, delicious house made pastas. Friendly service— we tried about half a dozen wines before making our selections. Definitely a staple place for special occasions—actually quite reasonable prices. Make your res two weeks in advance or try to get a late seating just after 10pm, if there is a no show.
Honestly I don't understand the hype this place gets. It's a small bustling bar/ restaurant with the Rolling Stones and Talking Heads blaring in the background. There's zero ambiance but we came here for the much talked about pasta. My dining partner and I ordered two pastas, one was great the other just okay, the Caesar salad was somewhat tasteless, the mushroom side, very good and the greens which again, just okay. The service is efficient and the food comes out...
