Food was good when it came out but we were surprised at how slow and cold the service was. When we walked in at 8:30pm, the only other table there (a couple) was just finishing up. So we were expecting to be served quickly. However, that was not the case - we waited 15 minutes just for the server to check on whether we were ready. It took another 20 minutes for the food to come out (which feels long given that we were the only customers at that point). The food itself, I will reiterate, was good but it just was a very impersonal and slow experience.

Great Chinese clay pot dish and great service from Carter! Him and his dad are doing an admirable job running this new restaurant as a father son team.

Appeared to be only one person doing everything for take-out, serving, cooking, etc, for four tables, thus a bit slow for some. Choice of drings are limited to non alcoholic but welcome to bring your own. Gen. Tao chicken spicey and good. OBe
Food was great and service was quick and friendly.

We got the dumplings, spring rolls, edamame, general tsos, & Liu Zhou Luosi Rice Noodle. Best general tsos I’ve ever had in my life and you could tell everything was made fresh. Great quality and atmosphere. You can bring in your own beverages as well :)

Tasty and affordable spot for Cantonese claypot rice dishes, offering a wide variety of flavorful options. The portions are very generous, ensuring you leave satisfied after the meal. It's an ideal spot for NYU students looking for a budget-friendly and delicious dining option.

It was empty on a Sunday night so I was a bit worried, but we were welcomed warmly and sat down. We had the signature clay pot, I had the one with everything and my partner with chicken. It was all super delicious, there was even a countdown timer, and it was accurate, so you could see exactly when your order was coming out. Great spot, just wish they had some sort of side salad or vegetable option besides edamame.

Me and my wife finished a movie on Saturday morning, and we were starving afterwards. So we found this rice bird on google with 4.7 stars and the claypot looks good on pic. We were so looking forward to it. When we walked in, no other customers were there yet, the waiter standing in the middle of the room did not say any welcoming words, just standing there and staring at me, I thought it might not be open yet, so I asked and he said it’s open.
After we sat by the window, someone left us a pad, without the introducing anything to us, not even a word. We ordered on pad with 9 bucks tip ahead, someone took the pad away silently. Food arrived in about 10-15 mins, still not a single word.
Unfortunately the food is not good. My wife got a shrimp and pork belly claypot. She felt the food is not fresh, and the taste is bad. The pork belly is sour and uncooked, the half egg felt from days ago. She left with almost 90% of the food, and went to the sushi next door. I got the house claypot, and popcorn chicken, which are at eatable level. I tried not to waste too much food and finish as much as I can. When I left, again that guy just standing there and staring at me, until I said thank you for the purpose of courtesy. I left as quickly as I can, and try to forget that I paid $9 tips for such a service!!
Worst dining experience ever around east village after 15+ yrs around New York area. Will never come back again, and will tell all my friends not to come to this place.

Definitely overrated. Chicken is not tender at all and pork tastes sour. Not sure why the rating is that high.

This restaurant is currently too overrated, only deserves 3 star at most. No one is at the restaurant when I went there at 6:30pm.
The 螺獅粉taste good, but the meat is only mediocre. The curry chicken is bad. Curry is blend, nothing like “Singaporean” curry despite what the menu states. The chicken is way overcooked, chicken meat is too tough.
