I was worried that they weren’t participating in the free First Day of Spring ice, but they were! Made me happy since all the other NYC locations are still closed for the season. They didn’t advertise it or have the special cups, probably because it’s in a location with a lot of foot traffic and they didn’t want to cause a huge line, but they still were giving it to people who asked.
One of the few rare Rita’s in the city. Hygiene/sanitation aside, this place has amazing icee/frozen custard concoctions. The pear is delicious. What a treat especially on a hot summer day.
