⭐ Zero Stars I’ve given Roma Pizza on 1st Ave (Upper East Side) multiple chances, but this location has the worst customer service. The only reason I went back is because I like the food, but the way the staff and manager treat people is unacceptable.
Every time I’ve been there, the manager smiles and acts friendly toward others, but when it comes to me, his attitude completely changes. I’ve experienced rudeness and dismissive behavior all three times I’ve visited. On my last visit, the workers made me wait over 30 minutes for a single order, while treating other customers with priority.
I’ve recommended this place to friends before, but now they’ll be going to the other pizzeria up the block instead. Roma Pizza really needs to fix their customer service and learn to treat all customers with respect.

Their Caesar salad pizza is my fave here! I know its a complicated flavor but I just love it every time I get it! Staff is always nice, I am surprise it only has 4.1 stars and not more as they deserve it!

Came here for lunch for a slice of pizza order the pizza standing around waiting for 10 min for a slice a Caucasian women came in order the same slice and got it made and ready in 4min after realizing where is the slice I order I asked the Mexican guy by the oven and he was real nasty to me and the people in the front taking order would never go back given me racist vibes .

I ordered a xl pizza pie and it was like a domino's pizza pie slice.. The pie was very small, if you go to the store there pies are huge but I buy an xl pie and I get a small sized pie similar to domino's pizza

Roma Pizza has two very different sides depending on the time of day. In the afternoon, the food and staff are excellent — the pizza is fresh, tasty, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. Everything feels clean, and I’ve never had any stomach issues eating there later in the day.
However, in the mornings, it’s been a completely different experience. The food doesn’t taste as good, and unfortunately, every time I’ve eaten there in the morning, I ended up sick with stomach problems. Because of that, I now only go in the afternoons, where it’s consistently much better.
If you’re planning to eat here, I definitely recommend sticking to the afternoon for the best experience.

Chubby fella and his sidekick had an attitude when I asked them for service. There are way more pizza spots that are way better. I just stopped by on my route and said let’s roll the dice instead of going down the block and getting a better slice.

The crowds here speak volumes. Good dishes served by attentive people. Personnel provided great service, being kind and consistently attentive. The prices make sense for the quality offered. I'll return shortly.
