In fairness I sent this twice to the bar and I never heard back, so you can decide:
I had been wanting to go to this bar for a while and I finally made it there.
The drinks, the service, and the ambiance were great, however I was EXTREMELY disappointed on the way my night ended.
We had a show to go to so we split our bill in two, paid, and headed out. It was only when I got home that I realized two issues:
A Mezcal Negroni that is clearly offered at $15 on your menu, was charged at $19
The bill was split in two, yet the individual receipts prompted the suggested gratuity based on the total amount.
I find this very dishonest and disturbing. I am always more than happy to leave a tip but this practice is really sketchy. Suggested gratuities on credit card vouchers are always adjusted to the value on the credit card charge, not the total bill.
This was my first and definitely my last time. There are too many bars in NYC and I do not want to encourage these type of practices.

Cool atmosphere, absolutely terrible service. Our server rarely checked on our table and acted annoyed when I finally flagged her for drinks. The couple next to us had to literally get up and find staff to get their bill. The drinks themselves were average to good. Place next door had better cheaper cocktails than this joint and way friendlier servers.

After seeing a show, my wife and I wanted to go somewhere for a cocktail and stumbled into Rosevale. As the bar on the ground floor was closing, we were asked to go the bar on the second floor. The second floor bar was busy and had a great vibe. We were promptly helped and enjoyed a couple of their excellent signature cocktails. Shortly after we sat, we were treated to an excellent jazz band and vocalist. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

Lovely atmosphere and a unique selection of cocktails that didn't compromise flavor for individuality. We went during the day, but would definitely love to go back again on a night when they have live jazz which would work perfectly with the space :)

Got sat outside on the terrace for 20 minutes without any server coming over. Went in and asked, still nothing. Was disappointing truly.

It's like you landed in something from an old fashioned movie. Beautiful lounge with an amazing selection of drinks and vermouth, the latter is their specialty. It's comfortable, the jazz music volume still allows you to speak and doesn't overbear the conversation. It's intimate and a beautiful way to spend the evening.

Stopped in here to grab a few cocktails after a show. The space is magnificent to say the least. Service was friendly, and drinks were very good, but the value prop just isn't there. To level set, we are no strangers to spending good money on food and drinks. However, the cocktails here were served with HUGE ice blocks or copious amounts of ice which give the impression that there was a decent serving in the glass, only to find that the cocktails were made with what appeared to be 1oz or less of the respective spirit plus the mixer ingredients. Again, beautiful place and certainly a must see, but just be aware that have a pour neat or a glass of wine is likely the better choice here. Prices for cocktails were $22+ per.

Loved the upstairs cocktail room and the well-designed drinks menu, which built a narrative around the drinks categories. At my server’s recommendation I had the Magical Tchotchke (with Szechuan pepper that left a fun buzz on the lips) and Negroni Bianco (refreshing without being too light). Definitely recommend.

Couch seating makes for very comfortable cocktail consumption. Intimate, tasty, innovative, and I discovered Richie Nuzz here- not just a pretty face but a pretty sound. Quintessential wedding/romcom jazz music and songs; he's as smooth of a singer as he is a trombone player. Desserts were good, and you'll swoon as Richie sings happy birthday to you. Surprisingly, not so crowded it's uncomfortable or too loud between 8pm-11pm on a Friday. But after this review it might be. It gets busier after the late dinner seating or the late theater seating. It's altogether a good show, as are most things in the Theater District.
Love it
Deleted my last review, turns out there ARE prices on the menu lol. Upgraded my rating from 4 to 5 stars.
