Always love stopping at Rosie's before a show. Originally found it while it was still on 7th avenue and the new space on 51st street is awesome.
My first time going to Rosie's and wow what a great Impression this visit has given me and my coworker. I always seen it from the outside and decided to book because the food looked amazing. The food was amazing and good reasonable NY prices. I loved the look of it, from the moment we entered and being greeted right away; even though it was not so busy but we got seated right away with reservation. At the end, the host person thanked us for coming in and I told him wow what a great experience we had. I love to share feedback like this, because this what keeps businesses running and stand by their product. I will definitely be coming again... thank you.
We ate lunch at Rosie O'Grady's on a Sunday before a matinee. The food and service was excellent and we really loved the decor inside. Was a wonderful lunch stop!
We had been to the former Rosie O'Grady's location many times through the years and always loved it there. Still, we were excited for what this next iteration might hold. The maitre d kindly sat us immediately even though we were early for our reservation. Otherwise, she seemed disinterested as she unexpectedly led us to seating alongside a small bar area at the rear of the restaurant, and later did not look up from her post as we parted past her at the end of our visit. The restaurant is undergoing construction, including to a large seating area that was shielded by a clear tarp so that the active workplace was visible. The prix fixe option at $62 was not inexpensive for the limited offerings available. Our waiter was earnest, pleasant, and accommodating as could be said for all of the serving and busing staff, but most seemed to be in-training and not yet at up to par with what is to be expected for such an expensive restaurant. Each of our steaks were cooked the same even though our requests were for medium and medium rare. The restaurant long ago built up a lot of equity with us for its excellent service, fun ambience, and kind availability so we will surely return at some point, probably just not for a while now.
Food (Sirloin, Tuna Steak) and desert (Crème Brûlée, Molten chocolate cake a la mode) were disappointing. The crème brûlée has a lemon infusion that is not mentioned on the menu and does not work. The molten chocolate cake had an almost-stale consistency, had no “molten chocolate”, and tasted like something from the supermarket. It was a Saturday evening, but was pretty dead so it’s possible they had chefs in training preparing the plates.
Will be avoiding this restaurant in the future, as there are better options at similar prices in the area.

Absolutely delicious food and close to the theaters! The service is excellent and reasonably priced menu. Definitely a go to restaurant before a show!

My colleague and I were able to get in and out of the restaurant in one hour, which was amazing since we only had an hour for lunch. The food was great and the service was excellent.
High class experience. Great food. Courteous service. The crab mac and cheese was ridiculous. Also recommend the espresso martini... Apparently it's ranked in the top 10 in NYC. Cheers!
Second year in a row going to Rosie's when visiting NYC. Staff are amiable and attentive. Food is excellent.
Beautiful new location for this longtime Manhattan, Times-Square-area restaurant and bar. Gorgeous dining room and bar area with great ambience. The food is very good (we had the sirloin and the petite filet) and the prices are typical for NYC. The noise level was low, however there weren't a tremendous amount of diners because it was 4th of July weekend. We had a bit of a minor language barrier with our friendly waiter, and he originally confused our drink order and the request for bread, but quickly rectified it when we brought it to his attention. Overall, a very good experience with very good food. We like the ambience of the new restaurant better than the previous location a few blocks away that we had gone to for years. Would definitely recommend.

The food, service, and atmosphere were amazing as usual. It's always great to return to Rosie O'Grady's especially now in their new location. It's become a favorite for us before a show when visiting NYC.
We enjoyed everything about Rosie O'Grady's! Two of us had the shepherd's pie and found it delicious. I enjoyed the bronzini very much! We shared the calamari as an appetizer and it was the best! Our waiter was attentive without hovering. It was a completely enjoyable evening! We'll be back!
Lovely setting and dining room. Fantastic Shepard's Pie. Reasonably priced for NYC. Our server, a nice guy, but did not know what he was doing. That took away from the experience.
The food was excellent. The service was Great. Our waiter Diego was attentive but not over bearing. We called ahead because we were stuck in traffic. We were informed no worries. Your table will be waiting for you. Upon arrival we were given a nice welcome and promptly seated at a nice table. I have patronized this restaurant and the old location many times. They have always provided a pleasurable experience. I highly recommend this establishment.
Mateo was our waiter and provided excellent service. Food was great! We highly recommend the crab Mac and cheese!
