I’m sorry, but the food tastes awful. I’ve ordered a few times and have been disappointed every time. The food isn’t bad just by NYC standards but by all standards. It should not cost anything close to the prices they’re charging.

I love the food at Route 66! The only problem is that when the Owner is not there the Chef slacks off! It’s like he only does his job when he is being watched.

Food was good, service was strange. Brought us a dish “on the house”, but the waitress was gone before we could even ask what it was. When she came back I asked what it was and she informed me it was carrot cake, I then asked if it had nuts in it and she said she yes before trying to rush off again, I had to call her back over to take the plate away as my partner is allergic to nuts. I’ve never seen a restaurant with such blatant disregard for nut allergies

Overrated, average to bad food. And they charge you extra for everything!! Even for paying by card.

This place is a hidden gem. Really delicious quality tasting food. Fried foods are clean and not drenched in oil. THE BEST NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER I've had in a long time. Service is very good and a cute hang out spot.

Stopped in for breakfast , staff very friendly and attentive . I ordered the
pancakes deluxe and they were the best pancakes I have had , so fluffy .My wivehad the huevos ranchers which was a big plateful and really tasty . Free refills of coffee as well as iced water as soon as you sat down . We were so full we didn't need any lunch .

3.5 stars! It’s rare to find a reasonably priced restaurant in NYC but Route 66 is pretty close. I’ve gone a few times now and have not been let down. Swing on by and enjoy a bite.

Look at the amount of bacon on that burger!

Stopped by on a whim when we saw the Lobster Hash on the brunch menu. Service was fantastic and food and coffee were good! A fun gem for us to stumble upon!

Stopped in for a late meal with coworkers and had a wonderful time! The food was great, but above all, the staff were undeniable sweeties. They were so pleasant and helpful and even let me charge my phone so I could get home. Sincerely delightful

French Toast I do prefer them ‘moistest’. Blueberries & Pecan pancakes were Amazing!!? They were MEGA KIND and always paying attention at every detail! (It was a liiiittle noisy, but seems everything that we wrote is a PERSONAL perspective, the experience is unique. Again the service was INCREDIBLE ?✨
