A true East Village gem! Cozy ambiance, amazing selection of natural European wines, and delicious food. What really makes it special is the staff - bartender, servers, and chef are all so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!
Service is great, and food and drinks menu creative. However, I was not impressed with either. I loved the pork shoulder, but not so much much the other dishes. The atmosphere is nice but way too loud for easy conversation.
Just the best. Favorite wine bar in the world, bar none (no pun intended… maybe a little though). Up until coming here for the first time four years ago, I was largely tepid (at best) when it came to wine. Then their incredible selection opened up a whole new door to wine I didn’t even know existed. Turns out, Eastern/central European wines are my favorite, and their thoughtfully curated menu never has any shortage of options to try and fall in love with. Bummed they don’t...
