This is a sketchy deli! I bought a water, and was in a hurry and first of all a bottle of water was 3.50 and then they guy gave me change for a 5 instead of a 10! Don’t pay cash! They’ll get you!

I’ve been coming here every other day for several months. My reason for the 2 stars is due to the attitudes in staff and very inconsistent pricing.I’ve both witnessed many arguments on the daily with polite paying customers simply asking questions about prices or placing a more than usual food order.The issue isn’t the taste of the food or the availability of different brands in stock. Just the overall customer service. They don’t value their customers AT ALL. I’ve even ordered a coffee one day and found a living moving cockroach in my ice cup and no apologies were made. I kept coming back because sadly it’s the most convenient deli in the area based on what they offer. I have so many stories where they argue with the delivery people screaming at the top of their lungs. Unfortunately it’s predominantly with people of color. (Not sure if there’s a biased - just an observation)But as a result the owners of this store will make you feel humiliated and under appreciated as a customer for ordering here. To be fair the issue isn’t really with the deli staff who make the food. It’s primarily the woman and man running the store who are the cashiers. They usually have an attitude and will act like you’re money is worthless. The pricing is very inconsistent and it even worst if you asks them questions on it.For casual customers they won’t notice it, but for those locals who visit daily don’t expect to pay the same price for breakfast or lunch. Very arrogant people.

PLEASE READ. The deli for breakfast and sandwiches is great and the prices are very inconsistent. You’ll hardly pay the same price everyday. BUT the main issue is the lady cashier! I’ve seen other reviews about the person running the cashier being extremely rude but it is so true. I corrected her mistake of charging me twice when I tapped my phone for Apple Pay. Instead of saying sorry, she blamed me. She was disgusting and had a bad temper. I will never return to this corner store I've also been coming to for years. She was plain rude & ugly as I was being an honest customer.

I found a roach in my coffee and instead of saying sorry, she just got me a new cup and I STILL HAD TO PAY FOR IT. Ridiculous. Terrible customer service.

I walked in at 5:50, and the deli guy said he wasn't open yet and to wait until 6 to order. Fine, I waited until 6 and he asked what I wanted. I asked for an omelette off the 6am breakfast menu, and he told me he couldn't do an omelette because he was just opening. Rude, and couldn't even deliver their own menu items.
Very rude lady at the counter. I simply asked what the cost of the Claritin on the shelf behind the counter was and she berated me lol. I wasn't holding up the line and it's a fair question considering it's a store. She just kept repeating why do you need to know the price? Why? Why?Huh? Because I want to maybe buy it depending on how expensive it is. Very weird. I killed her with kindness and left but will definitely not return. Forget this place.

I am very disappointed in this store.There overpricing there items and the sandwiches are becoming smaller and smaller and still same price.Different sized hero breads that now are barely half the size as it used to be and there cheap with the meats.I don’t believe I’ll be getting food from here as I used too
