Wow! Lamb dumplings in yogurt sauce were delicious as was the small mezze plate. I will be coming again for the lamb shanks. I would rather eat authentic cooking than some high end fusion nonsense. Everything was very fresh and the wait staff so friendly!
Sahara's is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. Depending on what I order, it can be a little more than I'd like to pay for dinner, but the lunch specials are affordable. he food and service are always excellent. Another plus is that the music is played at a comfortable level so people can enjoy conversation.
The service staff were very nice and attentive. The ambiance was very cute and the appetizers were great. The bread and olive oil was awesome! But the main courses were average. My daughter ordered lamb kabab and it tasted funny. Not sure if the spices were strange or the meat had gone bad. She got stomach sick that night but I can't be a 100% sure it was attributed to the food. My falafels were tasteless. The other main courses were just OK. It is fairly quite there and...
