Service and atmosphere were spectacular! The food on the other hand were just okay.

NYC is not known for its Vietnamese cuisine and was hoping that Saigon Social would make a positive impact. Unfortunately, the iced coffee tasted watered down—nothing like ca phe sua da and the banh cuon tasted like salty drunken noodles. Their banh xeo’s crispiness was good, but lacked flavor.

In my opinion, if you have Asian taste buds, save yourself...

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant I’ve ever been to. It reminds me of my mother-in-law’s home cooked meals, dishes that you can’t find anywhere else. The Vietnamese-inspired cocktails were incredible, the Pandan and Nguyen are the most unique drinks, and they are not sweet. Highly recommend this spot for elevated, authentic Vietnamese food and a great atmosphere.

We have been here twice, and the food just keeps getting better... so tasty! The menu options are different than your typical NYC Vietnamese restaurant menu. The staff is also great.
