To Go Shiosaba Hakozushi for a takeout was so good. It made me really, really happy. The sushi rice was tastier than an ordinary sushi rice and the grilled mackerel was salted perfectly. Scallions on the top added a nice crunchiness;) It was delicious.

A lovely new Sakagura location! Great food options, especially the happy hour hand roll rice bowl combos! The Kani chawanmushi and the Kaisen steamed rice were also delicious. Great happy hour sake too

Walked in thinking of another restaurant and not knowing that Sakagura has taken over the space. Sweet surprise I would say. Sakagura is one of my fav midtown resto but I like hanging out at LES so this is great. I went in 15 mins before early bird special dinner menu closed so I got the Negitoro set and my buddy got the Kaisen assorted set. Both are delicious and the crunchy seaweed to roll the sushi/rice onto it are fun and added umami to the dishes. I ordered Kumo styled sake...read full review
