About Sakura of Japan

Sakura of Japan in New York City is a hidden gem, offering quick, simple, and delicious dishes. The chicken combo is a standout, with perfectly cooked dark meat and amazing flavor. The beef combo is good but not exceptional. Wheelchair accessibility is available. This spot near Port Authority Bus Terminal is great for a budget-friendly lunch, with large portions of teriyaki, veggies, and rice cooked to order. The double meal option is recommended for those with a big appetite. Recent reviews highlight the tasty Steak Teriyaki with rice and the flavorful Sweet Chili Chicken wings, which are battered fried and drizzled with sauce. Customers appreciate the generous portions, good presentation, and the food’s piping hot freshness. While the dining area is small, with limited seats, the quality and taste make it a worthwhile stop for a satisfying meal. Some find the veggies plain without sauce, but overall, it remains a popular choice for a quick, affordable, and tasty Japanese meal near Penn Station.

Kosher Japanese take out place. A few chairs and one long counter. Good food and we got it quickly. In nice Tupperware's that you can take home. Got the steak over rice and vegetables for $17.95. Chairs at counter not so comfortable. But it's kosher and good. Not open Saturdays.

Decent quick serve kosher teriyaki fast food at a reasonable price. Limited menu, which makes it easier. Entrees are prepared fresh to order.

Nice portion size for the price, and the chicken and rice was really good. The vegetables were steamed and healthy. I'll be going back to try the meat.
