Really nice little coffee shop with chill atmosphere and tasty coffee. Good for accessibility - level entry from the the sidewalk with no bumps or other barriers, and relatively low-stimulation environment when I was there (late afternoon).

Good coffee with seating, power outlets, and good Wi-Fi. Network is “Saltwater-5G”, password is “bigyikes23”.

coffee was okay, kind of small (which is fine) but there were not many outlets and no bathroom!

Two points

1) No bathroom

2) Not allowed to leave an empty coffee cup on the way out

Came at the end of the day (30 minutes before closing time) and left 5 minutes before the official close.

On the way out, handed an empty coffee cup to the staff who was bagging up the trash. She told us to throw the cup out in the street garbage on 6th. When I asked where, specifically, on 6th she just pointed but I couldn’t see it. Why was this a problem?

Right after ordering, I asked to go to the bathroom. She told me the shop had no bathroom but no prob because I could just go to the Waverly Diner. I highly doubted it but she assured me they had a public bathroom and…if that didn’t work, the park had one.

I told her I couldn’t drink my coffee if I didn’t find a bathroom. So, I walked to the diner while my friend drank their coffee in the shop. Big sign right on the door, of course the diner bathroom is for customers only.

Went back to Saltwater Coffee and watched my friend drink their coffee and I just sat there with mine. The staff person knew this and STILL would not let me use the bathroom. I really had to go!

After, walked to the park with my full coffee and the bathrooms were closed. Threw my coffee in the trash at the park.

This staff person should not be interacting with customers.

On what planet can you not throw your trash away in the store you bought it in…

And at what small (and empty) shop can you not bend the rules a bit for a customer who has to go to the bathroom so bad they cannot drink the coffee they just ordered?

Back to throwing out the cup—she would not take my friend’s empty coffee cup so we had to put it down near her and leave on even more negative terms. She simply would not willingly take the empty cup! We said no, we are not taking it with us, we leaving it here!! There is no way I trusted that there is a trash can where she said it was.

Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never again.

Also—you need a sign on the door that says “no bathroom.” We would have paid for one coffee, not two.
