really cool and welcoming people
Excellent service, very personable staff, easy to communicate with, and very good produce and fresh food. Sam's is by far my favorite neighborhood deli.
I love getting my Red Bulls from here.
Sam’s is lit! Nothing you can’t find here. They’ll even make you dinner on Thanksgiving eve. Nicest folks. Thanks fam ❤️
I was really hungry so I walked in thinking I would get something cheaper here compare to the restaurants in the neighborhood on my lunch break. I got a turkey on a roll. It was pain and simple exactly what I needed, it was good! And the staff was nice. I then see that they charged me $10 for it. I feel embarrassed paying that much for a turkey on a roll ?

I bought tissues and one roll of kitchen roll and they charged me $10.65. The tissues were marked as $3.99, so $7 for a roll of kitchen roll?! Rip off merchants! Will go to CVS next time.
Best Deli in the whole city! I used to grab my coffee from there every morning! One of the things I miss the most about NYC!

Last weekend I visited NYC for the first time, and of course, I had to get myself a chopped cheese. Sam's Deli certainly delivered! A top notch sandwich and great service. At the end of a rainy day in the city it really hit the spot. Would highly recommend!

Adnan and team make the best grilled cheese in the whole of the US. Simply the best deli/bodega in New York with excellent customer service
We went with the family this afternoon, really very warm welcome, and super well-stocked sandwich, especially the one with pastra, in short brilliant, and big thank you for your kindness.
Great food, but the pricing was expensive. Our 2 chips and 2 cans of soda were the same price as 2 sandwiches. Better off getting sandwiches here and walking to another place to get sides.
Best bodega in the west village. Incredible family run team with a great selection of food, groceries, and household needs. The ginger tea is incredible. They steep it for several hours before serving, and it does miracles when you’re under the weather. Also fantastic selection of ice cream from Van Leewen / Ben & Jerry’s / and Hagen dazs.
It was my 1st chopped cheese, and it didn't disappoint.
