The last time we visited Tartine, the BYOB status had been Nixed. They did allow us to open One of our bottles but not more than one. We were told it was No Longer BYOB. If this has changed please let us know. -
Tartine is classic neighborhood French bistro in the best way. When what you need is a steak au poivres with some crispy fries or a veal milanese with arugula salad and an acidic vinaigrette, Tartine is there for you. Probably nothing on the menu will blow you away, but that's not the point - it's straightforward bistro, well prepared, all while being relatively wallet friendly for the neighborhood.
