If only the burger was good… tough, chewy, inedible to be honest. Very strange because everything else was quite good!
Management should really try it themselves, can’t beleive they would think it’s a decent NYC burger. It’s a 0 star burger! and they didnt remove from the bill either…

We went to Sant Ambroeus in West Village with another couple and honestly loved it from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere is super warm and friendly — you just feel good being there.

The food was great too. I had the grilled Mediterranean sea bass and wow… I really missed that fresh Mediterranean fish taste. It felt so nice to have that flavor again. Their wine list was also very impressive. We enjoyed a Barolo and an Amarone, and our friend even brought another Barolo which we couldn’t say no to

Absolutely amazing experience. The vibe is elevated and effortlessly stylish, and the food is simply outstanding — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully executed.

I had great time with great food and staffs except my server. I think she is nor familiar with asian people or what…? Her attitude was somewhat awkward and not nice.
But I don’t care about her and i will visit there again soon! 😌

Nothing short of delicious! The pasta as a whole was incredibly flavorful. It was hard to pick a favorite, but the ravioli as an appetizers was the best choice we made. Definitely don’t want to miss out on it! The cacio e pepe was perfectly creamy with just the right amount of black pepper. If you are going to get one thing, it HAS to be the pacherri Rosa. I’m not big on tomato sauce but the tomato was not over powering and the perfect consistency. The reason for 4 star is because although this was delicious, you can definitely find as equally delicious of pasta for a better price, but you definitely are paying for the vibe/great service! Our water cups never went empty.

We had dinner yesterday at Sant Ambroeus in West Village. It wasn’t our first time dining with the group, we had previously visited the FiDi location, which was excellent, but unfortunately, this experience didn’t live up to it.

We waited over 40 minutes for our starters, and no one apologized for the delay until we brought it up ourselves. The linguine alle vongole was also overcooked, which was disappointing.

Even after informing the manager about the delay, he never came to the table to apologize or check in. Overall, this visit fell short of the quality and service we’ve come to expect from Sant Ambroeus.

idiotic establishment obsessed with veganism, remove Italian from the style and name, you don't match it. Italians eat meat and don't order meat separately for a dish. the worst establishment with a high price tag that I've visited in the USA

Not a fan of this location. It feels extremely dated as if it was designed in the early 2000s (and it probably was). Light fixtures, countertops, and the wood are all straight out from that time period. Additionally, although I'm usually a fan of yellow lighting, I actually much prefer the dim lighting and contemporary design used at the Lafayette location.

The food is great as always. However, I have now been to 6 Sant Ambroeus locations and I have to say this is my least favorite. The Lafayette location seems to be the best.
