We loved this restaurant - the food was delicious, the staff were super friendly and they had outside seating to soak up a warm West Village evening. Perfect for a romantic dinner!

Service was good for most of the meal, but things got very slow at the end when we were trying to get the check.

Perhaps the most spot on linguinie alla vongole in nyc. A bit tight in seating.

I ordered the princess cake to go! It was my first time having princess cake so I have nothing to compare it to but I was disappointed that it just tasted overly sweet without any other flavors/dimension to it. It has marzipan but I didn’t taste the almonds or anything savory to balance it out. The whipped cream was also really flavorless.

Sant Ambroeus West Village has long been a great spot for people watching and great food. The pedestrian traffic outside is always interesting. We had cocktails and brunch today for mother's day. It was fantastic.
On arrival the wait was getting a bit long and the staff actually asked a couple to move to a smaller table and made room for us to accommodate our resi. This isn't uncommon for the patio seating to turn over a bit more slowly on a nice afternoon. After a little wait we were seated and offered a round of drinks on the house. Over the top way to soften the longer wait.

The house cocktails were fantastic and gorgeous, the ladies had the Diva and loved them, one Espresso Martini and a few Apererol Spritz for the drinks. For starters we had the Beet Tartar and the Burrata and Tomato salad. Amazing start. Followed by two brunch items and two pastas. The American toast, the Avavcado toast with an added Smoked salmon a Cacio e Pepe and a Lamb Ragu. We also had a salmon as a side order, it was perfectly cooked.
The pasta is always on point here.

Thanks to the staff and chef.
Happy Mother's Day

Unfortunately very overrated. Waited for +50min to receive our food even though the place wasn’t busy yet. When it arrived it was the wrong food. The waiter must have forgotten our order and scrambled … he didn’t care too much. Only after repeated reminders that we are yet to receive our food (parties around us who arrived after us had finished their food) did they take us serious. Very disappointing and wouldn’t recommend.

We had a wonderful experience celebrating my birthday here! The food was exceptional — beautifully prepared, flavorful, and high quality. What made the evening truly special was the warm hospitality from Francesco, the manager from Milan, and our lovely server Ivanna, who were both so kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout the night. They went above and beyond to make our celebration memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

This was genuinely one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had.

The uncomfortable feeling started the second I walked in. The hostess looked at me like I was inconveniencing her just by being there. I asked for a table for one, despite there being several open tables inside, and was told they only had outdoor seating available. I didn’t feel like arguing, so I accepted because I simply wanted to have dinner.

After being seated outside, I was handed a menu and asked what kind of water I wanted. I politely asked for still water. Then I waited. And waited.

About 20 minutes went by with absolutely no service. No water, no one taking my order, no check-in from any staff member. The restaurant wasn’t busy either — there were only a few guests inside and multiple employees walking around cleaning tables.

I honestly felt invisible sitting there. After a while, I got up and left because it was clear nobody cared whether I was there or not.

I almost never write negative reviews, but the service and overall attitude here were extremely disappointing.

The store's small but super cute, and the vibe's awesome!
The food was amazing, especially the vitello tonnato, gnocchi ossobuco, and the s'ambroeus cake.
Chef Davide Grecchi even came out a couple of times to explain the food right at our table. We loved it, and his passion for his cooking made the experience even better.
Service was great, formal but never dull, so the whole dinner was fantastic.
We even asked to move tables because the AC was blowing right on us, and they switched us without a fuss.
Seriously one of the best food experiences I've had in NYC.
