Good sushi at a very good price. There appears to be inconsistencies in how the sushi is assembled. The proportions of rice to protein fluctuate as tge day goes on. I am attributing this to running out of rice.
Be aware that this is a busy place, that makes fresh sushi combos and dishes to order. The seating is seriously non-existent, so I recommend picking your order up for consumption elsewhere.
For the price, you cannot go wrong. I've been getting sushi here regularly and have never been truly disappointed.
I recommend the Triple Box. It contains three rolls and three pieces of sushi at under $20. This combo box include salmon, tuna and yellowtail. There are many other options as well.

Bring cash and you'll find yourself in the cheapest sushi place in Manhattan, with no corresponding drop in quality. The rolls are all delectable, the soy sauce is of a high quality (I've found it varies from place to place), and the seaweed salad, while slightly pricy compared to the rest, was still delicious in a generous portion. While there is no eating area or nearby benches, this is a minor trifle, and the staff are highly accommodating, being willing to make a roll (egg, rather than egg and avocado) not strictly listed on the menu. A true hidden gem!

This is a great sushi place if you’re looking for something quick and affordable but still quite good! I got the seven roll special (saved some for lunch the next day!) and it was only $26. The rolls are a little on the smaller side, but they don’t skimp on the actual fish and veggies. It wasn’t the best sushi ever, but it was totally worth the price. There’s very few seating options inside, so anticipate taking your food to go. I ordered and waited perhaps five minutes while they made it right in front of me, and then I was good to go!

Indoor space is very limited, take out is recommended. They prepare the food quickly and it’s very affordable. Bring cash, it’s cheaper with cash!
The sushi is good. Ingredients are fresh. Wasabi is legit. But lacking a bit of rice overall and skimping on some protein. Not the best I’ve ever had, but it’s definitely a great spot in the UES for the price, quantity, and the quality.
The sushi tasted old. The rice was overcooked and congealed. The maki salad was soggy and flavorless as though it was made last week. I ordered 70 dollars worth and was extremely disappointed.
this place is so so good! it’s become my new go to sushi place because it’s so cheap, quick, and delicious! their menu has such a wide variety. i usually just get avacado rolls, avacado cucumber rolls, and shrimp tempura rolls and it’s so amazing!!! i call to order for pickup and they have it ready within 5-10 minutes. for three rolls i believe it’s about $11.45, but i got four rolls for $17.37. it tastes just like the more expensive i’ve had but its so much cheaper! the staff is also very friendly but it takes like 30 seconds to pay and get my food. i absolutely love this place and especially their low prices for quality sushi!! would highly reccomend :)
Favorite sushi spot in the city

Good sushi, clean spot, quick service
Sushi Spot is a hole-in-the-wall takeout spot with shockingly affordable prices. Seven rolls cost $24.75 plus tax. Service is very fast. As for quality, it’s better to go with the oshinko, unagi, ebi and tempura rather than the tuna.
Fresh and tasty sushi rolls.

I was reluctant to try after previous reviews mentioned getting sick and food quality being poor but I just had for lunch special, 3 rolls for $12 and it was great! Not the best sushi you’ll have in your life but good enough for the price. Took 5-10 minutes. Quick and easy. Bring cash. Spicy mayo is 50 cents extra. More of a take out spot.
