The food, service, and ambience were wonderful. The tuna tartar appetizer with carrot was stellar! I also appreciate how nicely they accommodated a food allergy. Great experience all around!

Went in without a reservation and were welcomed in by Eduardo, the MD, with open arms. Server Kathy took great care of us weary Travellers and dinner was awesome...tasty octopus and yellowtail to start and delicious pasta and risotto as mains and the three of us shared a vanilla panacotta...yummers. Will be back for sure. Cheers

I have a colleague that is an investor in the restaurant, and although I've never eaten at the restaurant with that particular person after roughly 6 years of visiting the restaurant on three different occasions, the most recent the waiter knew that We were sitting at the investors favorite table and brought his name into the conversation and it was a very nice experience for them to recall that after all these years. That's the extra mile that a great restaurant does in terms of customer service. The food is always fantastic and they're very flexible and willing to help serve food to the kids who can be very finicky. In fact on our original trip the youngest went into a full-on meltdown and my wife was unable to sit at the table with my youngest. The restaurant was incredibly kind and packaged up the food so that we could take it with us and they didn't rush us at all. With or without children the fantastic restaurant in New York City and some of the best Italian food at an upscale restaurant. We like it because of the ambiance location quality of food and of course the service. Although Michelon restaurants have their place, our preferences to land somewhere south of the rigor that comes with a Michelin restaurant and Scarpetta meets that criteria 10 out of 10. Exceptionally high quality but also a great environment where you feel welcome and warm
