Good spot for any easy lunch when in this area. I’ve bee a couple of times and find the sausages tasty. This past visit I had the Berlin Wall which is siseable but I managed. You eat at outdoor counters so it is very much an on the go place and the weather needs to be nice.
Came to get a sausage and had the displeasure of meeting the rudest cashier. Don’t answer people “what” and please don’t proceed to try and hand out English lessons as if you’re the queen of bratwurst sausages! Look out for the lady with glasses and weird haircut!
I promise to return whenever I'm back in this area. Each staff member delivers outstanding service. Their dishes satisfied completely. We walked into a quiet dining room. I regularly praise this place.
Rude customer service
It was one of the rare occasions when I didn’t finish a beer. They had two beers on draft: October Fest and a grapefruit beer. I chose the October Fest, but the pouring took around five minutes. When I asked the girl about the beer, she told me she was “making my beer.” I responded that I would prefer a refund. She seemed upset and informed me that my beer was almost ready.
When I finally received it, I was surprised by the strange combination of citrusy flavor and beer. I reminded her that I had ordered the October Fest and was taken aback to learn that this was indeed their October Fest. It seemed like she had mixed the leftovers of two beers and served it to me. I left the beer on the counter and went next door.
Pretzel is inedible. Tastes like a freezer, is stale, and has a strange texture (see photo). Also paid an extra $1 for a slice of cheese on the pretzel and they forgot. Waste of money.
Expensive :( and mediocre food. It took like 30 min for a three person line.
Nice hotdog and there is almost no place for sitting down.
Great food. Unfriendly service
I very rarely post negative reviews. Unfortunately, I need to echo a lot of the previous folks here who have commented on the very rude staff not only was the cashier super rude, it took 15 minutes for them to make our 2 hotdog order. They had also ran out of French fries, which is a common comment from other reviewers. To add insult to injury, they wanted to charge me for a cup of water after I spend $40 (including a tip).
Finally, I think the worst thing about this was stepping into the restaurant after ordering, and seeing that it is extremely dirty. See photos. These are in the very public front eating area. I can only imagine what it’s like in areas that guests cannot see.
Again, I’m typically not picky and dislike giving negative reviews. I think it must be under new management from previous ownership because a lot of the early reviews are positive and you can tell that someone started it with some care and passion around the design and decor. But it’s just filthy. They’re rude and the food was OK.

Excellent hot dogs, if you’re okay with $15 gourmet versions. I happen to enjoy trying hot dogs at different places. But the service was very rude, as others have mentioned. That leaves a after taste that will remind me not to return.

The service in this place is always the worst. The attitude of the people is not professional. No tip of course.
The food is ok when you are a bit drunk.

When I miss Germany I come here to get a Currywurst! It's home away from home! Great service too!
Expensive, and service was terrible.
Food was just dumped on the counter without so much as a word. Very rude lady.
Not worth bothering.
