The food was incredible. I loved the Artic char and my child had the Spazle which he just pretty much cannot stop talking about.

Service very good, considerate and kind. We've had their Wiener Schnitzel several times now. Always excellent, with well made "sides", better than the ones I had in Vienna recently. The restaurant has a nice, casual atmosphere.

Superb schnitzel! Just like home - in Bavaria! 3 of us had schnitzel; one had the Schilling burger which was delectable - and devoured The frikedellen were equally good as were the appetizers. The service was excellent, the drinks delicious. And it was a NY Restaurant Week deal. We'll be back the next time we have a craving for schnitzel.

Loved Schillings! Delicious corn chowder. The schnitzel and fries were delicious. Wonderful chocolate soufflé. Great selection of beers. Thoroughly enjoyable meal.

I highly recommend this restaurant. As a german I can say the Schnitzel is pretty good here as well as the Spätzle were a great choice. The service was super friendly and could tell us much about the menu. Finally for dessert all three options were delicious and tasty. The atmosphere was very comfortable with nice music and an open layout. Definitely recommend.

We’ve been to Schilling a few times now and it’s always been great. The schnitzel is a must have. Wines and cocktails are good and it’s always a calm and quiet place to eat.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Quiet enough to have a conversation. Reasonably priced. What else could I want?

The design at Schilling Restaurant & Bar enhances without overwhelming. The serving size was just enough. I never felt like I was imposing by being there. You'll find every surface properly maintained. From drinks to dessert, consistently good.

The food and wine pairings are excellent. I work downtown and wanted to bring my family to a nice night out and this truly fit the bill. Don't sleep on the smoked trout!

Quaint restaurant. Great food

Why go out for fairly simple Austrian food? Because it's prepared as well as Chef Frauneder does. My pork schnitzel was pounded to within an inch of its life, with a beautiful light breading. The brussel sprouts were beautifully roasted, with a sauce with some Asian ingredients and lime tying it together. The white asparagus soup was creamy and luscious with plenty of pieces of white asparagus. And this was the second time we've ordered a burger at his restaurant, something we rarely order out, because it is just that good. Perfectly balanced. When we travel to New York we try lots of restaurants, hoping for a great tasting meal. We go to Schilling when we want to make sure that's what we're going to get.
