When I tell you their creamy tomato with chicken and pastina soup is the best thing I ever have. I yearn for it every day. One time they didn’t have it on the menu and I died a little inside. I do cartwheels every time I order and have this delightful taste in my mouth. I love it.

Original: Utter chaos! LABEL THE SOUPS PLEASE!!!! My office has ordered from here twice now and both times the orders were wrong, either incorrect sizes or missing items, which at these prices/portion sizes is a pretty big deal. The incorrect sizing led to a vegetarian eating a chicken soup and becoming violently ill. The restaurant was nice enough to send the missing items but you really really really really need to start labeling what the soups are...

I love, love, love, love, love this place! Every soup is delicious as well as the sandwiches and salads. Whatever soup sounds good to you will be delicious. I am particularly fond of the chicken soups, the Chicken and Brie sandwich, and the Cobb salad.
I missed Hale and Hearty so much. So happy they're back, even with a different name!!

The food is great! I miss Hale and Hearty and love having this food option in the neighborhood. However, service is extremely unfriendly. Every time I have come in (except the opening week) the cashiers seem completely inconvenienced to be working. Also lately, the air smells of broiler. You walk out smelling of kitchen no matter how long you are in for. That alone will sometimes inform my decision for lunch if I have to get back to a work meeting. A ventless hood and staff retraining could really bring this place to 5 *.
