Waited for 30 mins and only got one appetizer. No one came to talk with us and we had to keep asking. What food will take so long to cook??!

Omg! This is one of my fav restaurant in NYC! SEA by Jungsik, the new Southeast Asian spot from the Jungsik team, service as warm as the flavors. I love all of recommendations from amazing staffs! Chef’s crudo, chili egg, prawn roll, crispy pork belly… every rec was a hit.

The food is insane, some of the best we’ve had in New York. The service was good too except the host at the beginning who didn’t want to seat us cause we were one minute late to the grace period but then all was good. The noodles, fried chicken and the coconut sundae were the highlights.

Food was good but nothing special. Crab fried rice was quite dry and bland. Portion is very small compare to price even for NYC. Service was good and prompt; though there were off moments like being told that they need our table back within 1.5 hrs eventhough we have a reservation. Overall it was an ok dining experience.

I’ve been here at least three times since they opened and will definitely keep coming back for the yummy food. I’ve never been disappointed—the food, drinks, and atmosphere are always great. It’s a cute spot for a date, a group of friends, or even just by yourself. But it’s definitely better with two or more people so you can try lots of different dishes!

This is the first time in a long time I feel the urge to give a review. The food, the service and atmosphere all call for a Michelin rating. I went with my family to Sea for a Saturday night dinner. We were seated quickly and were introduced to the menu and given suggestions on portion sizing. The waiter really made sure we were well fed and advised on the perfect amount of dishes to order. The only thing we argued about all night is whether the short ribs, the chicken wings, or the shrimp rolls are the best dishes of the night. The chef didn't miss a beat with the dishes. The first course of the chef scallops dish was a fantastic way to start the meal. It was refreshing and really opened up our palate. The service was impeccable. While I saw some reviews complaining about the service being too frequent. I think they have to understand it's a small table, if you don't clear the plate, where are you going to put out the food. And you need to respect the restaurant of their time management, they need to make money. If you check in at 6pm, you shouldn't expect them to let you stay until 9pm. Our water were getting filled constantly and my kids were very happy with the extra care from the staff. All in all, Sea made our night magic, thank you to the work of the staff members especially our waiter. We had such a great time and will be back again and again.

Food is fantastic. A $120 dinner for two that is playful in flavor, portion and taste. Service is great and staff is so friendly. Music is not too loud so you can taste your food and enjoy the company.

First time here and definitely will be coming back. Amazing staff and just as amazing food.
Was taken away by the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. One of my main concerns is cleanliness and this restaurant hits all the marks.

A fusion Southeast Asian restaurant with clean, flavorful dishes. The portions are a bit small, but the coconut ice cream we had for dessert was absolutely delicious.

We had an absolutely incredible dinner last night at SEA! From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how beautiful the space was—warm, inviting, and full of vibrant details.

We arrived as a party of four and were initially seated at a small round table. We asked if a booth was available, and even though it was reserved for a later party, the staff graciously accommodated us after we promised to finish before the reservation time. That level of hospitality set the tone for the evening—attentive, kind, and truly guest-focused.

And then… the food. Every single dish was phenomenal—from the first bite to the last. Layers of flavor, perfect balance of spice and freshness, and beautifully presented. It was more than just dinner; it was a full-on culinary experience.

Highly, highly, highly recommend. Whether you’re a local or visiting, this spot is absolutely worth your time. We’ll definitely be back!
