What a fantastic place for a delicious meal and drinks in Chelsea! I had the best time here catching up with girlfriends a few days ago over several hours - no one wanted to leave. Everything we had was amazing - from the tasty rosé to the escargots, pâté, oysters, seared duck breast, tartare, and mushroom risotto, all the way to the desserts including the profiteroles, chocolate molten lava cake, and crème brûlée… we just kept on wanting to try everything! OCabanon is a delightful French restaurant located just a couple of blocks from Madison Square Garden, featuring a charming boutique. The service is attentive and friendly, with staff that is warm and professional. The food and wine are excellent, offering a wonderful selection of dishes such as pate, escargot, Cheese Ravioli, Chicken in Mushroom Sauce, and the highly recommended Brien Cheese appetizer served with slices of apple, jam, and bread. The ambiance is great, with lots of indoor seating and a casual, authentic vibe. There is also an extensive wine selection and good draft beer. The restaurant has a space upstairs for group events, ideal for private dinners, cocktail hours, or meetings. Chef Charly brings his talent to the kitchen, ensuring every dish is delicious. There is a 3% credit card surcharge, so paying cash is a better option. Overall, OCabanon is a highly recommended spot for both fantastic food and exceptional hospitality, making it a perfect pre-show destination for drinks and bites.
